If you extract and remove the pulp YES you you get all the nutrients BUT the juice just becomes sugar. The fibre helps to slow the sugar from entering the body quickly..

Alicereware, Vitamix is really one of the very best. I have been using it since in the year of 2000, this is the best investment I've ever made. Use it at least 4 times weekly. Blessings

This is true. I have a Vitamix and it's great and is an option. However, if you're wanting to really kick up the AMOUNT of nutrients (by getting nutrients from MANY fruits and veggies) then you need to get rid of the pulp because otherwise it would be way too much to drink. I think both are good options. If you have a juicer you can juice and dehydrate the pulp and use for other things. For example, with veggies you can dehydrate and ground into a powder for soups and seasonings. For fruits you can dehydrate and use in smoothies, teas, or baked goods.

Well, if you just grab whatever is on the shelf without paying attention to the ingredients, then yeah you will end up with processed, unhealthy things. But the juices that i buy from the store are cold pressed, and nothing added other than the fruits and veggies. But they are not cheap at all, which is why i need a juicer

@@Sandrae7560 Rule of thumb, if the vegetable grows underground, it has a lot more sugar than those that grow above ground. And of course a couple apples have all the sugar you need for an entire day. Very easy to overdo sugar when juicing.

I have an Omega 8006. It's the only juicer I've ever had and I use it every day for the last ten years. It's a high quality slow-masticating juicer, but not as expensive as the upright ones like in this video. If you think you're going to stick with juicing, I'd definitely get a slow juicer of some kind, rather than a common centrifugal juicer with high RPMs. High RPM = oxidation and heat applied to the juice. However, be prepared to spend something like $250 instead of $100. Let me know if you have any questions.

I make all types of nut milk with no problem. The only thing that has ever stopped my juicer was stalks of lemon grass. I simply used the reverse button, and it was good to go.
