This is a great video. Militaria Review should be proud of you. A lot of good information on these new fakes from poland and china. The Hitler Telephone is something you should follow up on. This phone has the provenance of coming from the son of a British army officer that claims he received it from the Russians as gift during his visit to Hitler's bunker in Berlin in July, 1945. I inspected this phone and it did look good to me. This information that it was a postal phone is interesting and makes me glad that I fell out of the bidding when it got to where it sold for. Thanks for your kind words and for watching the video. Yes the Hitler phone is a style that was used in the postal department and is not the type that would have been used by the Fuhrer himself. Also, the paint is simply red paint over phone and very crudely done I don’t think the Fuhrer would have been satisfied. It was such a poor paint job

I’ve been to Poland I met a guy that sold me a helmate. He had a sewing machine in the sublevel of his house he was making cuff titles with the sliver bullion thread they looked good but new he was selling them on eBay people were buying his stuff

Yes there are some very well made movie props that find their way in to collections. Occasionally, Hollywood studios will auction off their back stock of props, wardrobe, scripts etc. Initially sold as a movie prop, then a few transactions down the line, it becomes genuine.....

Sadly, more and more so called collectors would just rather ask other collectors instead of doing their due diligence - your videos (like mine) are supposed to make it easier for collectors to learn(and its basically free - unlike books that cost!), and still, most would rather not learn. Hehe

Just buy from people that you know they're real, I only buy from 2 people no one else,they have KZbin channels one is mostly daggers the other one gentleman is guns and rifles and stuff, in the last 2 years or so WW2 stuff has gone almost double and every day it goes up.

Ok, so in this "business", people are apparently expected to know what they are doing, what something is worth, who to trust, and what is "fake" as opposed to what is authentic, if I have collected the basics.
