Another good one. We walked for over 20 miles all over on the first day, so, we did take the truck for the first place too. The cliff parts of the hike were amazing. After you got the free shuttle from the main entrance to Little Petra, where did you get tickets for the 10-15 min open back truck ride? After the open back truck ride drop you off, how long did you have to hike before you got to the monastery?

The free shuttle drops you off at the entrance to Little Petra and the ticket office is next to that for the open back truck. I can't remember exactly how long the hike was but around an hour sounds about right...

What time of the day did you start hiking? I am thinking doing the the backdoor hiking around 3-4pm from visitor center. Is there a shuttle from visitor center and 4*4 jeep from little Petra at late afternoon?

We drove to the main entrance in the morning, parked the car and caught a shuttle back to Little Petra. We started hiking around 9 o clock before it got too hot and spent the day walking though the city to the main entrance, where we had left the car. I'm not 100% sure about the shuttle from Little Petra in late afternoon though.

Enjoyed to watch videos, but i would ask a question from this video. How did you get to the backside entrance to Monastery is any driver or spot to parking a car? Appreciate for any answer :)

Thanks for watching. We had to go to the tourist information office near the main Petra office to get our tickets, then go back to Little Petra to purchase tickets for the 15 min 4WD truck drive, and hop aboard to the start of the trail into the Monastery. It's a bit back and forth but worth it. Yes, there was areas for parking.

@@adamconstanza After you got your ticket at the main Petra office and went to Little Petra to purchase tickets for the 4WD truck - --- how far is Little Petra from the main Petra office? Can you just walk over to Little Petra from the main office or do you have to drive? Is Little Petra worth visiting?

They provide a free bus service from the main ticket office to Little Petra which from memory took about 10-15 minutes. Yes, Little Petra is worth visiting whilst there.
