Hey everyone - what do you think of the "2 level" paint jobs? Worth it, or a waste of time? Let me know what you think!

It's a very good idea. I think this can help people who want to get into the hobby and progress in stages. It does not affect the dynamics of the tutorial. 👍

Thanks Olivier :) That's what I'm trying to do - make the videos useful to more people

I think it is very important for 2 reasons. One it allows people to go as far as they are comfortable going. Second it gets people thinking about possible next steps. A lot of "speed paint" videos leave no room to go further because of the techniques used. By thinking about next steps and making sure they can be done is way better than speed painting with nowhere to go and the models are stuck that way unless stripped. Great video, thank you.

I just discovered the video as I'm thinking about painting my traitors to start to play Blackstone Fortress one day ... This is the recipe I'm going to (try) to do. The level 2 painting is very helping to add more consistency to the minis. Thanks, great video 😀

Yes yes yes, but when are we going to see a full length nail painting tutorial? ;) great work again, mate!

Tell me which brush you use in this video. And which brush do you prefer to use
@HeroesBosses5 жыл бұрын
These are very cheap plastic brushes. I use "Mod Podge Plaid" brushes. You can get them at some hobby stores. I buy mine at Walmart: www.walmart.ca/en/ip/Mod-Podge-Brush-Set-10-Pkg/PRD6PSZ9EVKTPS0

I only use these and sometimes Windsor and Newton brushes for details like eyes, faces, writing/tattoos

@@HeroesBosses Do you use a synthetic brush?
@HeroesBosses5 жыл бұрын
@@Константин-й7й Yes - for most of my painting. I only use a hair brush for small details.

Thanks for the in depth tutorial and thumbnail demo of the goggle painting steps! How do you like the Citadel minis compared to the others from Kickstarter like Zombicide Invader?
@HeroesBosses5 жыл бұрын
My pleasure! As for the GW vs Invader, the GW miniatures are definitely more crisp with better detail. Though of course GW minis need assembly (which I don't mind). The Invader minis are very good however - but it's hard to beat games like 40k or Kingdom Death in quality.

Hey, could you please tell me what is that music? Thank you!
@HeroesBosses5 жыл бұрын
It's "synthwave" - there's a ton of synthwave channels on youtube like Prime Thanatos and Odysseus. This music is from the free youtube library.

Nice work, did you spray them with a clear coat?
@HeroesBosses5 жыл бұрын
No, I just gave them a good spray with Testors Dullcote (matt varnish). Some people prefer to do a clear coat first, then a coat of matt varnish after for extra protection however.
