Love this! Layer paints on top of contrast is a really nice way to paint quickly but still create a high quality finish.

Some people say just use highlight colour as base colour for contrast paint. Then you don't need to do highlight.

Thanks - I use a Samsung S20 mobile (films in 4K) and I use a mobile phone holder attachment on a mic arm to hold it over the table 👍🏻

You could try the army painter speed paint black, or just normal black paint thinned a bit

I love everything about this video except the fact that you’re holding your models with your fingers rather than any kind of hobby holders. I would worry about smudging off paint with my fingers. These days, this is the same method that I use for most minis I paint. Start with contrast as a basecoat and then highlight off with similar acrylics. Really satisfying. I don’t wanna buy the whole kill team box but as a big fan of (fantasy) chaos warriors I’m excited to eventually buy these piecemeal as they are the closest thing to scifi chaos warriors :)
