Ep#3: Quarantine Part 3 - WE'RE FREE! (Well, almost...)

In the 3rd and final installment of the #Quarantine diaries, the dogs are finally "free"! Well, almost, as you'll see.
In this video, the adorable little dachshunds Crusoe and Daphne are overjoyed to the idea of #reopening and so rush outside in pure excitement to run around the yard, not realizing that dogs were always allowed to go outside even during lockdowns and quarantine! But oh well.
They then decide they want to go into public to get some ice cream. But of course, they need their masks to go into public, and to practice physical distancing. So Daphne rushes to make some masks on the sewing machine for the family. Although, they don't turn out so good and turns out DAD is the one which has to sew!
Finally they make their masks and go get some ice cream, from a rather strange labrador dog ice cream server who eats all their ice cream.

My wife and I have had 7 dachshunds in our nearly 48 years of marriage. When they would take off running like these guy she would sing Neal Young’s song, “ Long may you run”. She passed away 3 months shy of our 48 anniversary. When “Job”, like in the Bible, go out for a run I will play the song on my phone. When he hears it, he bounces around like he is dancing with momma.

Hello, Crusoe & Family ! Was so glad to see you had this one "in the can", as they say, before Cru went in for his procedure. This is going to help tide all of his fans over while he recuperates. Nice work by Daphne on the sewing machine ; glad you were able to keep her nose away from the needle (LOL). We recently have had our ice cream stands reopen here in New Jersey and my lady love and I had some last night. Back when I still had my dear departed dog, the ice cream stand was a nearly nightly ritual during the summer, with usually a half gallon of French Vanilla in the freezer at home as a backup, so this is very relatable. Recovery is a process that cannot be rushed, so please get our favorite dachshund well - at his own pace. We'll miss him while he's away, but we want him back at 100 %. Take care, all of you and all the BEST along the way !

I had mine removed as well. It’s crazy how things changed internally with having it removed. I don’t have the severe pain anymore and the diarrhea is no longer a problem and the cramps it causes have completely disappeared. I can’t imagine what a dog or cat would go through with a gallbladder problem, without being able to speak on the condition they are in. I wouldn’t know which end it was coming out of, as I would need a bucket while sitting on the toilet. I would throw up at the same time as I would spray mud. I don’t miss those days where 3 am would come and be woken out of a dead sleep in severe pain that I would throw up immediately and times where I couldn’t get to the toilet in time and ruined a few pairs of underwear. Gallbladder’s are very uncomfortable when they aren’t properly working. I hope Crusoe didn’t experience too much of this, he’s a tough little guy with all his back surgeries. Mine was no fun and still have issues. Seeing him walk around and even run after his surgeries is a delight to see, I hate seeing anyone in pain as I’ve had quite a bit. But animals makes me feel horrible when they are in pain, cause they can’t tell you exactly what’s wrong.

OK, this was just great. Dad has really upped his sewing skills for sure. Daphne eating her ice cream through her mask is hilarious and running like flasher. Both of them just enjoying life.
