I remember those clips from the bridge. The mirror and bridge were a good idea with figuring out what the animals would do!

Nice work..Have you ever heard of fox wire? It’s about the same dim as chicken wire but heavier. You could mount it balloon 🎈 style and work it toward and encompass the camera. It would keep the squirrels 🐿 out and the seed would last much longer.. Take a piece of tubing a little less dia than the wire opening and tape it to a peanut butter jar to fill the feeder ..I like the blue bird

Great trailcam tips. Some are spooked out by your bridge, others use it, very interesting to watch. I love the bird feeder idea, when I get a trailcam I'll definitely try this one. Wishing you and family a very Merry Christmas and a successful new year. 🎄❤

Those are all great ideas and I plan to try some of them. I've gotten some other great ideas from Rich Wilson at Death By Bunjie. He takes a cheap camera ball mount from ebay and mounts it to a spring clamp, which makes for a versatile substitute for a tripod and I've used that for mounting game cams also. Another great idea I got from Rich is to set up a trail camera over your gut pile after you field dress your deer. I've gotten some great close up footage of buzzards and crows with that trick. Something else I've done is to drill and tap the top of a sturdy plastic tent stake for 1/4-20 threads and then mount one of those cheap camera ball mounts to the top of the tent stake, which makes a great ground eye level camera mount. I've used that to cover gut piles and also to watch my trap sets. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
