I listened to this while driving in the rain and as soon and Whitney shared her story about wanting to not be here anymore and got to the part when she changed her mind, the rain cleared and a rainbow literally appeared ❤ it was so emotional. We are so happy you are here, Whitney! It’s a beautiful day to be alive ❤

Whit is truly the purest, lightest, brightest, most angelic little bundle of sunshine. I’ve been watching her for 7 years and, in that time, she has given me nothing but giggles and comfort and great advice. I cannot believe the hateful things people have said and continue to say about her. This made me so emotional! I love the very rare opportunities we get to listen to her chat for a longer period of time.

I've been a Whitney fan since the blue room, pre-Stefan and I adore her! I really appreciate her care with talking about becoming a mother. As someone who has dealt with fertility struggles and loss, it's so nice to hear someone handle that topic so delicately and not take for granted that it can be difficult to conceive. ❤

Whitney if you see this, I'm 33 years old and I have suffered from rheumatoid arthritis since I was 18 months old and was finally prescribed Humira. I also struggled with not wanting to be on medication being a lot of the times it made me physically ill to take some of the ones that are used for my autoimmune disease. Humira is the best one I have ever taken. I have made peace with the fact that there are certain things about my body I cannot control and taking medication gives me the physical freedom I deserve, especially when what we deal with can be debilitating. I love you and understand you and being someone myself who was a dancer and got into the gym after high school it is so refreshing to hear that we have such similar stories. I have been in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction for the last 11 years and I hope to one day reach people the same way you do. Thank you Avery for this podcast

Humera has changed my life after being diagnosed at 15. I had to beg and cry in my derm office and I finally got approved after years of blood work, tests, tears, sleep less nights… It made me so depressed in college bc I was hiding it and sometimes I just couldn’t and so I self isolated so much. I stopped getting invited to events, lost friends, it was a dark time. I’m so happy I found Whit years ago. She’s been such a blessing for us psoriasisisters. My quality of life is amazing now and I’m still proud of my journey and all that came along with it. Love you Avery! ❤ great episode

I loved this! So much I want to say. I struggled with weight issues my whole life. I just had sleeve surgery this year and already within months lost over 100 pounds. I was at my highest weight ever beginning of this year. 10 years ago I used to teach aerobic classes. Something major happened in my life and totally stopped caring. Now I’m back into my journey. Rearranging my whole life because it is a life change. You talking about your psoriasis helps to normalize that this does happen to people. Let’s bring about awareness instead of shaming someone for it. People and their hateful comments. People have to realize what they might say to someone could be their breaking point. There’s no need for hatefulness to be brought upon someone. Nothing nice to say - keep your mouth shut. You never know what someone could be going through, and they might look happy on the outside, doesn’t mean they are happy. Thank you Whitney for sharing your story. You are a strong individual. I’m going to checkout your workout posts on Alive!

I have followed her since the beginning and i think that’s because i resonate so much with who she is and it is so beautiful to see this amazing human grow and put good into the world. Mental health is something i think we all struggle with and i appreciate nothing more than this kind of vulnerability as it makes those of us who feel similarly feel seen and not alone.
