Great video about the important history that today's generations are oblivious about because of the Gandhi Nehru focused history books in school... And without knowing it the Indians may make the same mistake again. However, there are few important inaccuracies in this video... Firstly, the fault lines between the Hindus and Muslims weren't drawn by the British, it was already there for long time which the British understood well and cleverly exploited to their advantage. While the Indians consider division of Bengal as a dark past, to this day, in Pakistan and Bangladesh, the division of Bengal in 1905 is taught as a 'great step by the British which the Hindu elites opposed to keep the control and authority intact'! Also, it's highly inaccurate to say that the freedom movement was mostly led or participated by the Brahmins. Although there were many Brahmins who were in the forefront, many, if most of them were Non-bramnins. In fact, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Aurobindo, Bipin Chandra Pal, Khudiram Bose, Binoy Badal Dinesh, Subhash Chandra Bose and the vast majority of the people of Bengal standing up against the British were not Brahmins. If the Brahmins were truly majority among any groups that time, it was unfortunately the Hindu Jamindars and British collaborators, who actively supported and helped the British rule and exploited the Indians. Look up which community got the most Ray Bahadur titles for collaborating with the British.

Thank you Vivekji, for the wonderful series. The history needs to be rewritten as the actual history had been changed. Please make documentaries or movies on the revolutionaries of India who sacrificed everything just to make India free . In Bengal , during the “Angiyug” , those young bloods shook the British empire and even though they were not successful to free their beloved motherland but they made great impact . These were not told in our history lessons . I get goosebumps after learning the heroic stories of these kids ( who were just 19/20 years old) and how much torture they endured if arrested before they were killed eventually. I am grateful to the people like you who are relentlessly working on these topics even though I know majority of the documents/files/papers were destroyed , some by British and rest by our own to cover up their misdeeds and incompetency . All the best to you ! Looking forward to “Delhi files “ and hoping for “Bengal files” and many more. Jai Hind !!!
