A LOT of people were faking the girl boss, I don’t need a man, I can fuck like a nigga persona - ended up wanting and needed a man and affection during the solitude of Covid. It’s all cool except for those same people having shitted on women who expressed desire for relationship and building with men. Then they were “delusional” now she’s one of them. 🤷🏾 Change is good, but change is hard.

Hey girlies! I'm at 5 minutes 30 right now and I just want to talk to Mandii for a moment. You are rebuilding yourself right now. You've been through shit and navigated it in the best way you knew how, which you realize now has lead you away from yourself, your values, your worth. That's why you are scared to trust yourself, because... you did. You trusted your choice in a person who's shown you their flaws, and it lead you to this couch crying on your podcast all in the name of love (and self love!) , and I think that is the bravest thing one can do. Trust the ones we love. Trust ourselves when we can tell others do not love us how we wish to be loved. You were never wrong Mandii, you did your best with what information you knew and you have to forgive yourself for that. Feelings, relationships are not easy and I think it was your first serious one, right? 39:46 I went through a period where I had to introduce some dry ampoules in my cat, and after 2-3 days of moving and peeing, they'd be knocking or just fall into the toilet (I had been celibate w no master bation for 3 years at that point, so VERY CLOSED HOLE). Hope that helps with anything.

Weezy has a point when talking about therapy. Honestly therapy should help with teaching someone the tools to deal with their problems outside of sessions. Only in serious circumstances and cases should someone do therapy for a long term, ironically the goal of therapy is to be able to not have to come back (only on need-to basis) lol
