Idk my man now told me before we slept together, because I asked, that he had been seeing another girl before me and I told him that I didn't want to sleep w him. Weeks later I caved bc the attraction was there and we had been seeing eachother often, but not much time went by before he told me he cut her off and asked me to be his girlfriend. This is so refreshing to know that there are guys out there who are actually good people. Like I've recently gotten out of a situation where my ex flew me and our kids across the country, bought us a house, furnished and decorated it after me leaving him for 3 years because he wasn't serious about the relationship or life for that matter. Girl, he made ALL OF THAT EFFORT along with many other gestures to "get his family back" JUST to FCK 2 women in "our home" who knew me as well btw & congratulated me on our engagement and pregnancy & had sex with them in the bed next to our children's pictures and our engagement photos. So when I see that there are women and people in general who are being valued, appreciated and feel safe and secure in their relationships, it serves as a glimmer of hope just on a human level.

59:00 I love weezy's perspective so much. I think a lot of men have voiced this, but it comes off as a misogynistic way to devalue women. Women have always been taught that they are the prize. But we are in an age where men are starting to see themselves as the prize as well (outside of their finances). But the expectation that a man has to not only win you over but also be obsessed with you/cut off all other prospects while you don't do the same thing is crazy. Women can't see dating as a free market and then not expect men to do the same. And in a free market, there will always be competition. Why do you expect men to compete but not women?
