​@@RajMaharjan-g7o In that case Bashanta Maharjan is another scholar who is very well versed. I don't mean to undermine the indigenous knowledge and there insight but I think they do lack on many aspects specially historical facts and a way to connect these events with the larger picture.

I just hope what he has explained could be elaborated and presented with further details so an average lay person could understand easily. I know I'm asking a lot but this could be with more the one episode.

@ Lumbini was not prioritized, until one of the UN secretary visited Nepal who was Buddhism follower, and he commanded Nepali government with huge budget for Lumbini’s development. Lumbini is being a source of foreign donors that’s the only reason, that it became in the list!! You ask yourself that why does India claims Budha’s birth place in their land. Has Nepali government ever officially claimed birth place of Buddha in international platforms?
