The first appearance of SOF-***** is SOF-TACP to identify TACP assignments aligned under AFSOC. To gain assignment to these AFSOC units the TACP was required to pass a fitness test and go through a selection process.

@@OnesReady Very few AIr Force Occupation Specialty Codes (AFSCs) have human performance specification and skill qualifications directly connected to providing a surface combatant operational capability requirement that is a bit more than a special mission duty assignment requirement. The comments of maintenance SOF-T is an example. Is this a Special Experience Identifier, Special Duty Identifier, or Special Warfare Mission Support Identifier? It's certainly not an AFSC or an AFSC-suffix shred. It also isn't something a person is entered into an entry award of AFSC training requirement immediately after completing BMT. These mission support requirements are mostly associated with assignments to AFSOC units. An AFSC has a career development framework designed with entry into occupation specialty being possible immediately after completing BMT and having skill level and leadership (Team Leader mission qualification certification) requirements and standards. Essentially what is the occupation-operational capability and ability human performance standards for entry into and retention in such assignments? Consider in perspective of "Ever wondered how to take a perfectly good career field and complicate it with branding chaos?"

@ make sure the promo doesn’t go over one minute at a time. And don’t go on long tangents on the commentary in the intro. When it’s 15 minutes to 20 minutes I still didn’t hear any of the main topics I have wasted my time. Make the commentary and chit chat more dispersed would be better.
