@@AbuMiqdamAlAfrikiThe father. Allah is not a father in any sense. “Know” in that context means to declare. The Greek term used was Oiden. It’s used in a similar fashion elsewhere. It’s clear Jesus knows the time as he is the one who will judge on judgement day (John 5:22-24). Please avoid trying to test the Christians in here.

Unless english is that much of a difficult language to comprehend, this is the simple translation from the verse. There ain't no bullying here. There is just showing you the plain inconsistency with your logic, which ties into your theology which clearly doesn't add up no matter how much greek or hebrew you want to go back to. He said, "NO ONE KNOWS" But then he does actually know, so why did he say that in the first place? 🤔

@steph03_ The God of Abraham specifically I mentioned because He is seen as the Patriarch of all three main world religions and from him do are they attributed. He is undisputed in all scriptures also for his unwielding faith in the true One God the most high, hence why he is a great reference in referencing him and the God he worshipped above others.

Facts Aaliyah, Allah is a title, it's just like saying God. YHWH is the name of the Christian God! The problem is with many Christians and Muslims, they do not read, and even more do not understand. The Quran contradicts the Bible and it's fundamental different!

Yahweh's origins are within the Canaanite pantheon, which included several other deities like El (the chief god), Asherah (God's wife), and Baal (a prominent storm god) these deities were then adopted by judaism (some denominations of judaism still refer to god as 'EL' ) and acknowledge the many ways in which he presents himself to different peoples. Christianity was formed through this teaching. Yahweh historically is the god of storms not all creation. Divinity has been worshipped in many forms since human civilisation the only difference is how we as people have chosen to worship. That is all that what separates us. Jesus is not meant to be worshipped, we should be trying to live like he lived - that was his message.

You do know Arab Christian’s also call Jesus “ Allah” . The word Allah translates to God - Allah and God are not different they’re the same you need to do your research before talking

I know Allah means God in Arabic, but the issue isn’t the WORD, it’s the NATURE of God. The Christian God is Triune (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) while Islam reject that. Same word, different meaning. I hope that helps.

Let me help you to set the record straight. Allah the most high and the way he has chosen for mankind until the last day which is Islam is not in need of anything or anyone, ever. As a matter of fact, the Qur'an explicitly mentions, Let there be no compulsion in religion/way of life, for the truth stands out clearly from falsehood. Added to that Allah is the most rich, self sufficient and free of all needs. When someone decides to leave Islam, you won't find the Muslims missing anything or crying or even hurt except for those who don't understand Islam. For sure Muslims don't have the same God as you as we don't worship a man. Neither do the hebrew israelites which was who Jesus was born into.

Friend you seem very misguided so I’ll provide correction. The post temple Judaism practiced today is not the same as the 1st century. The first Christians were all Jews. The disbelieving Jews branched off and changed the religion. They go off of the Talmud. They are also not in agreement over what they believe despite being very small (18 million). Messianic Jews for example believe everything Christians do. You call Jesus the messiah in Islam while the Jews don’t. That means they are heretics in both our faiths. Relying on their interpretation is erroneous. We see 400 points of prophecy on the messiah including direct verses calling him GOD. (Isaiah 9:6) and other divine descriptions (Daniel 7:13-14). The Jews also recorded the same court case for blasphemy that is in the Bible. Thats an independent non biblical source corroborating that the historical Jesus claimed to be God. Whether you want to believe it or not the only Old Testament that we have historically (Church fathers with ancient manuscripts also quote it in the 1st century) and the accounts about Jesus himself all point to him being God in the flesh. He is not just a “man” he is the eternal word of God that became flesh and provided atonement for our sinful nature which was always prophesied (Isaiah 53:5 Zechariah 12:10). I agree that we don’t have the same God, however this is a major issue as you claim the prophets while contradicting them in countless ways. One for example is Elijah/ Eliyahu who you call Ilyas. His name literally means “YHWH is my God”. Allah of the Quran never called himself YHWH. I hope this encourages you to study more and don’t take this correction personal 👍

Christians don’t worship a man. Jesus is the eternal word of God incarnate. Just like the Old Testament prophesied about the messiah. The first Christians were all Israelites. The religion that’s practiced today isn’t the same as the 1st century. They also record Jesus’ court case for blasphemy. Thats a hostile non biblical source corroborating his claim to be God. Muslims worship the same God as Abraham. Neither was he a christian or jew but he submitted his will to the one God and not the trinity. He followed the way designated to him and those before him and those after him, the way of the truth, complete unyielding submission to his will and his laws. Abraham didn't worship Jesus, and neither did the disciples of Jesus, neither did Jesus himself call to worship himself.

Well doesn’t this depend on how you define “same” though isn’t it? Because all abrahamic religions have the same God. He is the same “entity” in all 3 religions, they each just belief different things about him and he exists in different forms. But it’s the same God. That’s why you can convert freely between all 3

@user-yf5je1dn1q You are being intellectually dishonest, the majority of Arabs practice Islam. In fact a famous slave trader was Tippu Tip also called Hamed bin Mohammed, a practicing Muslim. Muhammad traded 2 black slaves for one non-black slave because black people Africans) were not valued very highly in Muslim society. Your hadith is derogatory because it describes a leader as resembling a “black raisin.” A Hadith in Sunan Ibn Majah on “Black Faces”On the Day of Judgment, some people will be resurrected with black faces because of their sins.”
