In Nevada, NRS 202.265.3(a) is a peace officer exception for schools. Would you say that covers off-duty carry and could officers carry in Nevada under Leosa because it's not prohibited in Nevada state law?

In Tennessee, you can as long as you immediately notify the principal or the highest authority at the time.

In Virginia, under 18.2-308.1, under the exempt section, it states "(iv) any law-enforcement officer, or retired law-enforcement officer qualified pursuant to subsection C of § 18.2-308.016;" as an officer, I would read that as as long as you have your credentials, you are covered, whether on or off duty, in or out of uniform, on official business or not. It doesn't even state you have to be a Virginia Law enforcement officer

Those hired from colleges or schools without police departments can carry weapons as Class Three special law enforcement officers in New Jersey.
