Great content! I have wanted this bike for a while now. I saw one (unfortunately in the wrong size) in a store a while ago. Videos and pictures online do not make justice at how absolutely stunning this frame is. Will keep hunting.

spend more time being honest with us and less worrying about being "douchey".... The reason I enjoy your channel is because you are honest. 🙏 I have carbon, alloy, steel, ti bikes and steel just does stuff different.

I always enjoy spending time with you. It’s like listening to a buddy telling me about his experience! Variety is the spice of life. Carbon, steel, titanium, aluminum. Enjoy it all!

Love your videos, dude, length and all. I realized with your list of bikes that that was me from about fifteen years ago-I sat down one day after one too many carbon bikes purchased and took stock of the insanity. I owned/rode about 20 different bikes, mostly carbon, from the likes of Cervelo, Scott, Felt, Specialized, etc etc. Then, one day I decided that I needed help...lol. After selling all my carbon bikes, I decided on a Moots road bike and never looked back. Love it and keep the reviews coming mate.

I must have seen this video like over 10 times already..and because of this review.. I actually gotten myself the vigorelli frame. The number of reviews on this bike online is really limited. Really appreciated that you did such a thorough review. Initially I was looking to get a "S"size 51.. but due to the really limited stock on this frame, I gotten a 53. The bike is almost as what you described. It is comfy, and the handling is really good. Only complaint, is that the headtube is actually quite high, and even though I slammed the stem, it is not as aggressive as what I was initially expecting. But is it all still good. Loving the bike, thanks so much for your recommendations.😊

Awesome video and thanks for the in-depth review. I was lucky enough to pick one up a few months ago and and am thoroughly enjoying it. Came OEM with SRAM Force 1x groupset and Vision aluminum wheels and going to ride it for a bit before upgrading it.

I applauded when you picked up the bargain Cinelli, love the build and the fact you're enjoying a back to the future moment with new 21st century steel. Funny thing, as I'm assisting a friend in her search for a budget suitable road bike, I can't help but marvel at the direction carbon road bikes have gone, yet recognize the copy cat look to all of them. Your Cinelli stands out in a crowd.

Great video DC and a truly beautiful bike. I see this type of a build and I can imagine myself wanting to build a steel boutique bike at some point. I would love to build a steel bike with a mechanical groupset as a bike to just take out on those special days when you are riding to love the ride and not worried about any stats at all.

I ride nothing but steel these days. At 52 I retired my last carbon bike a few years ago. Now I'm riding either a Mason Asepct (Titanium), Mason Resolution (Columbus Spirit) or my newet frame, a Cicli Barco (Columbus XCR) which is freakin amazing to ride. There's so many more attibutes that contribute to a better ride with steel.

Tks DC. Perhaps, you are one of least biased reviewers. Sort of the old Stereophile. Quality content 👍. Keep up the good work!

Hey DC, great show. What were your thoughts on the Hyper wheels. I hear they are of great quality, fast, stable & compliant .. your experience?
@DiabeticCycling4 ай бұрын
Hi Nick, thanks for your time watching! Not to say $1200 is "cheap" by any stretch of imagination, that price tag is lower than some of today's popular wheels, right? So for the price, the value proposition was incredible. I somewhat had low expectation, but the wheels were pleasantly surprising. I would buy again if I need to.

The Vigorelli that you have is most unique in that the bottom bracket drop is 50-53mm or about 20mm higher than almost anything else out there. This will allow you to avoid pedal strikes but I wonder what else it does to the overall handling.

Hi, awesome that is video came out at this very moment. I have been thinking to get this bike and found one in my size. May I know the weight with your 105 DI2? I am thinking to do with 105 mechanical. How is the bike on the climbs? Both on short/ long and steep climb

Been also thinking of getting steel but having 4 bikes already and dont want to sell any puts me in a dilemma

just buy more and don't sell any, easy peasy!

Why did u choose hypers over magene ?
@DiabeticCycling3 ай бұрын
Hi Kubackjeee. I actually rode both sets pretty much equally. I was running the Hypers on days when I more less had flats, then swapping in the Magenes on days I had to climb anything massive. For instance, I took the Magenes to climb Pikes Peak, Independence Pass, and also 2 of the hardest climbs in CA. The CA ones are in a separate episode. :)
@kubackjeee3 ай бұрын
@@DiabeticCycling thanks for the answer DC, nice to hear you like both wheels. I am in the market for a new pair and am very close to choosing magene as I like the looks more, also the price is waaaay better then new hypers.

Can you sell me the frame when you are done with it? I think its the realistic price range for me to get into cycling. Thank you :)

As a proud owner of a Ritchey Road Logic, I thought the Jekyll and Hyde analogy was very apt and congruent with my own experiences. The geometry is also racy, and the handling in corners precise, but at the same time it's composed at high speed, and possesses a certain... je ne sias quoi in ride quality.
