Tarantino is one of my favorite filmmakers. What I love about his work is that each movie is a completely different genre with the exception of hateful eight and Django which are essentially westerns but still very different from each other. Whether it's his own original work or if he's adopting a novel like Jackie Brown it's undeniable that is movies have style and flare and it's so easy to identify it as a Tarantino movie even when you look at the ones that he didn't direct and he wrote the script for you can see that DNA all throughout. They often say imitation is a sincerest form of flattery and there's a reason why after Tarantino came on the scene there was a lot of imitators

Greart rsnking beau! I dont think our rankings would be too far off. I have get to see once upon a time in hollywood so i cant fully rank them. But i do agree with your top spot and your last spot. The middle for me might be changed around some, i like reservoir dogs more than pulp fiction personally and wasnt a fan of the kill bill movies but i havent seen them since they came out so need a new watch. If you watch the hateful eight and think of it as a agatha christie play you migjt like it more! But great rankkng!

That being said my rankings will be updated after I go back and we watch them all like you did in one sitting movies like reservoir dogs Jackie Brown's pulp fiction Kill Bill I've seen so many times that they are automatically higher in my rankings because you're literally burnt into my mind whereas some of the other movies I've only watched once and unless they totally managed to grab my attention they are automatically lower even reservoir dogs aside from the Michael Madsen scene any opening restaurant scene was way lower for me in the past after watching it several times I now appreciate it all the more

My ranking: number 10, The Hateful Eight; number 9, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood; number 8, Death Proof; number 7, Jackie Brown; number 6, Django Unchained; number 5, Inglourious Basterds; number 4, Reservoir Dogs; number 3, Kill Bill Vol. 2; number 2, Kill Bill Vol. 1; number 1, Pulp Fiction. Although True Romance was not directed by him, in terms of storytelling I would place it at number four. Natural Born Killers, based on story alone, I would put at number seven, and From Dusk Till Dawn, in which he was involved, I would put at number five. These would be parallel rankings with his pre-existing directorial films.

Nice ranking, I don’t think you can go wrong with ranking his movies because they’re all so damn good

#1 Jackie Brown #2 Pulp Fiction #3 Death Proof #4 Reservoir Dogs #5 Short from Four Rooms Early Tarantino was "Extraordinary characters having ordinary dialog" Hitmen discussing burgers. Diamond Heist crew debating Madonna. Everything after Jackie aside from Death Proof is cartoonish, fantasy, history/reality bending nonsense. It's now extraordinary characters talking extraordinarily and getting into extraordinary amounts of action. Personal opinion only, but after he lost his writing partner Roger and his editor due to her death, his work hasn't been to the same quality standard. He has too much leash and not enough people reigning his ideas in.

Tarantino is my third favorite director, behind Stanley Kubrick and the Coen brothers. The only movie of his that I simply don't like is the Hateful Eight. Here is my personal ranking: S-Tier: Kill Bill Vol 2 Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Kill Bill Vol 1 Pulp Fiction A-Tier Inglorious Basterds Reservoir Dogs Death Proof Jackie Brown B-Tier Django Unchained C-Tier Hateful Eight
