Love this! The book Fit for Life changed my life 29 years ago. Been plant strong for all those 29 years. I am an athlete and super healthy. Stay Strong!!!

Nancy Valdez ...think I’ll check the book out. 29yrs that awesome I was vegetarian for 4yrs and just full plant for just a year now. I’ve always been active and health conscious since my twenties but didn’t stumbled on to the full plant path till much much later for I think the most obvious reasons but Im here now and will never turn back.

I have a problem with eating only fruit until noon....but it's a personal choice, of course. He is an interesting person. I see that some folks don't like this podcast, fruit until noon, sushi on a date night, no grains,clean eating, raw food...but to call it " plant-based " does a disservice to those of us who are plant-based.

In the email about this podcast, Jesse is sitting cross-legged, wearing a white t-shirt and holding a white bowl of food. I'm dying to know what he's eating. Looks like bananas, nuts and something? Yum! Please tell me! ;)

Would have been so great if you had moved the camera up 18" so we could've seen your whole head! Interesting though

Why did you post this interview? Seriously, he isn't even doing what your father, Dr. Esselstyn, advocates on a plant-based diet. Ten minutes into the interview and he states that he is 85% plant-based and hardly eats any grains. A billionaire talking about "Newness", haahahhaaa. The average person raising a family, working, and making ends meet don't have that luxury. And then this guy didn't even take the time to learn if your parents were alive before the interview, which means he doesn't care to learn anything about your parents, what they are presently doing, and advocating.
@KathyLop19564 жыл бұрын
I agree! He is not plant-based as Rip says he is. too bad as it reflects poorly on plant-based eating,,,only fruit until noon, no grains, fish......yikes

Jesse is being interviewed because he is in the elite of the elite when it comes to success, in every area of his life. He wasn’t born rich. His positive, super determined attitude has made him rich. Are you doing anything with your own life, like making an interesting podcast, or climbing a mountain?
@Saul.29104 жыл бұрын
Judging from some of the comments below, apparently you can only gain insight from someone if they follow the same exact diet that you do 🙄

I know, right! If Jesse was worried about this random designation of purity he would never be as successful and happy as he is!

hmm interesting ...I almost didn't listen to this podcast bc of your comment but I did anyway and was glad I did. Actually, this is a very valuable conversation that relates to [everybody] young, old, rich or poor. I mean there were concepts that I've hear before but we always and I mean always need reminders of how to conquer ourselves to achieve what we want. It's ironic this one so far has been my favorite ;))
