I am not sure if it is true, but in Europe is normal to teach children in first grade how to hold pen before teaching actual writting. (Not only holding but there are plenty exercises to learn how to use it). But I heard that it is uncommon in US and children learn writting without any previous introductary lesson. Correct me if its not true.

Right, like, going East, they get no coins, they're constantly behind Sam and Toby, they get roadblocks used against them, and they have to do the fishing challenge when the other team gets to pass it, which could easily take an hour. The plant challenge was one of the most wholesome things I've seen in Jet Lag, and I'm fairly certain one of the few challenges that actually allowed both the competitors and the viewers to experience a bit of the countries you guys visit

it kind of isn't! it's just memorization, so you don't necessarily actually learn how to do the math by learning them. Sure, maybe you'll pick up how the x10 one works, but the rest, not so much. Kind of like how you could memorize a couple hundred words in another language and have no idea how to speak any of it. It has its advantages (the average person is rarely going to work outside those numbers, and simply having the easy ones memorized instead of having to calculate it out ahead every time speeds it up significantly for most people), but it also doesn't mean someone can actually do math.

Hello! NZ local here. It's pretty common for our rivers to change pretty quickly. We have a lot of dams, as most of our electricity is hydro electric so lakes will change a lot, changing the flow of rivers. Plus we have a decent few glaciers which change a lot during summer. Basically, nothing to worry about!

Yeah that’s something I definitely don’t think was a great idea on their part, if you can’t get onto a beach during high tide it generally means it’s not safe either. Let alone running along the bottom of a rock face away from the exit, water everywhere and no way out. Don’t know if it’s cause I’m Aussie and that’s a massive “no” for me or what but that challenge had my heart in my throat

I am actually a Nebula subscriber and got a chance to see the finaly today, so let me fill you in. See, Ben gets drunk 43 more times and so decides to swim from New Zealand to America while Adam decides to go back to Motukiekie to find a starfish and gets hit by the water so hard that he hits his head on a rock and slips into a coma. While this is happening, Toby once again declares that Sam did not complete the skate park challenge correctly and that he has to ride the makeshift skateboard down Mount Doom. While sam does that, Toby declares that she has won and goes down to south point but on the hike to the lookout point, she gets hit by a ghostly version of Ben with a nerf dart in the eye and also gets cursed to never be able to say the letter e ever again. Also if you saw this you better be happy since it is probably going to get taken down as a spoiler. Also also... TEAM SAM AND TOBY FOREVER!!!!

This game would be really fun on London tubes! Every stop, a challenge, and there's interesting strategy with switching lines, or perhaps a powerup that lets you get a ferry or taxi to skip some of the map. Get to the four corners - Amersham, Heathrow, Epping and Orpington first.

I really don't get Sam and Toby's confusion over Ben and Adam taking the Western route. The lower half of the north Island had made it abundantly clear they were just gna keep cursing or roadblocking B & A, so if they'd followed them east them they just would've got blocked and cursed further and further behind while S & T racked up coins. Doing the opposite was the only choice they had
