I feel fortunate to have lived through the 80s and to cherish fond memories of my grandmother's cooking. Reflecting on the past, it's inspiring to see how many countries lived in harmony with the planet decades ago, relying on natural farming practices without fossil fuels or chemicals in the soil. This shows us that sustainable living is not a new concept-it’s something we can draw from history and adapt for today. When it comes to protecting the planet, it's important to focus on what we can do individually and collectively. Instead of placing blame, we can recognize that different countries have diets suited to their unique environments. For example, countries near the poles depend on nutrient-rich foods like pasture-raised beef, ruminating animals, and cold-water fish because their climate offers fewer opportunities for year-round agriculture compared to equatorial regions. Ultimately, the best step forward is for each of us to reflect on our habits and look for ways to make positive changes. Together, we can learn from the past and collaborate globally to protect the planet for future generations.

Plants and autotrophs have the least carbon footprint, milk is still better but yes cows generate a lot of greenhouse gases like methane. Milk is a complete protein and we do require it, eggs are good too unless you want to eat bugs😅
