Dr. Khadar Vali's insights challenge conventional beliefs with well-articulated explanations, providing a scientific yet accessible perspective on the transformative benefits of millets and the hidden harms of modern dietary staples like milk and refined foods. This was amazing. Thank you Shlloka! From what Dr said about soaking (although this was ref to fermentation), does it also follow that when we soak some of the higher protein sources mentioned, such as Rajma and Channa, really just to soften and reduce cooking time - that it too should be soaked in a clay/mud pot and not a stainless steel pot (overnight before cooking)? Or an alternative? Because many of us are trying to have less preserved / canned legumes. Than you!

1:05:50 Cleaning a copper bottle daily is quite challenging, an unclean bottle creates rust which is harmful hence it's better to use copper plates and kept in a water container overnight will create larger volume of charged water and easy to clean daily.
@rajeshkhanna-q3bАй бұрын
It's not rust . It's copper oxide due to the process of oxidation. Cleaning copper bottle is very easy. Use the left over of fresh lemon and shake the bottle . The more the quantity of the peels the better it is. If you use a full lemon with it's juice it gets cleaned even faster. However left overs are sufficient. If the oxidation is high, leave the bottle filled with peels for more days or till the bottle is new .

This one remained in my watchlist for a week, only to be thoroughly consumed today. I totally enjoyed the doctor's humour, energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and whatnot along with the hostess' questions, brilliance and reactions. Just like the millets, this podcast is power-packed needing one to absorb the vast knowledge slowly. When the duration taken to watch the video exceeds the very length of the video (by nearly 50% in this case), you know you have hit a goldmine; the norm being 1.5x for podcasts. Now, there is an uphill task of converting this knowledge into action as almost everything being practiced is totally misaligned with what is being recommended. Uffffffff. Thank you so much for your efforts that went behind in bringing this wonderful podcast, @shlloka. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️❤❤ One last thing though - if you could keep the intro under 1-2 minutes, it would taste crispy. Gladly, there were no other video-editing disappointments. 👍🏻

Have been noticing that you bring a connection of menses to every aspect of well being which is great as that is an integral part of life, even in a man’s life because he is bound to have either a mother/sister/wife or daughter in life but wondering why you still haven’t called upon the one person who has done extensive research on this from all angles known- Sinu Joseph ji ? I must add, it is refreshing to see a podcaster allow the guest to speak a lot more than themselves! 😊 Pranam🙏🏼

I have suddenly developed wheat grain and dairy allergies. Boil rice is the only thing which I can eat along with vegetables and protein. So Boil rice has been working for me for 1 year plus.

My father lived for 86 years by eating only rice through out his life. He never had any disease like BP, Diabetes, Heart problem, orthopaedic problems etc. I am eating rice since birth (77 years) without any health problems so far. So, I do not agree with this advice.

Your father walked so such might be 😂

@@akshaygirishgudipudiNo, he cycled for about 15 years. But I didn't walk much or used cycle. Like the present generation used scooter and car. Still I do not have any such disease that require regular medication. There are many people like me and some of them are my friends. Yes, we are strict vegetarians having curd rice at the end of a meal.

I mix three kinds of millets namely Jowar Bajra and Ragi with wheat flour and besan to make roti for my dinner . Dr Khadar suggests to soak it before cooking . How can I soak these powdered ingredients ???

I have seen many of Khadir vali's videos but this is where he explained reasons for his concept of eating millets, avoiding non-veg, avoiding dairy, not mixing millet types etc. This is great shlloka, you have been keen and interested to know more in the video.

Ragi is hugely used around districts around Bangaluru. Ragi mudde is our daily meal.❤❤ We were using Sajje, saame, burugu jonne and other millets after awareness.

This reminds me as a forager in the west how strange you get looked at when you say you enjoy eating wild plants, they act like youre maybe kidding or think it's too dangerous for them to try as well, while it's literally how humans are supposed to live, in balans with nature, let alone plants growing from wild forest soil are so much more nutritious than what you get from supermarkets 🙏 it's my dream to see people grow back to their roots again and know what it truly means to be a human being, at least influencing those in my area wherever I'd be
