The snow is so beautiful! The landscape shots, and the cabin are truly gorgeous. Being snowed in for a little while isn't too bad, as long as you have plenty of firewood, and food. A little sun, here and there, to pump up the solar would be nice. This is life off grid in the mountains, not for the faint of heart. Being in the flow with no resistance.❤

hi Alex, how wonderfull does the cabin and its surroundings look ik the snow, although it comes with its problems it is a place you can really enjoy a simple life. That wood has already warmed you up a couple of times even before you put it in the stove😄. I really envy your determination. Keep healthy, warm and make sure you come home safe to Monica!

E ‘ sempre una questione economica e da quella non si può prescindere. Ho speso una fortuna per fare la mia strada( tutta partendo da zero. Tu hai già un tracciato almeno.) per arrivare alla mia baita con un sacco di difficoltà create da confinanti e gente ostruzionista. Avessi la tua età, come ti ho già accennato, cercherei di trovare una specie di garage dove termina la strada o comunque un riparo per l’auto nella brutta stagione e punterei ad avere un mezzo tipo trattore (trovi usati a prezzi anche ottimi) per arrivare fin sulla porta. Un mezzo a cui poter applicare la lama per spalare la neve, fare tutti i lavori di trasporto, legna e materiali. Io l’ho visto e lo vedo fare dagli abitanti in loco. Ho amici che con il loro trattore, cabinato, vanno ovunque e con ogni condizione di tempo e viabilità. Con la motoslitta sarebbe più limitante se vuoi vivere fisso in baita. Comunque lo sai che vi seguo sempre con piacere. Ciao e buon inizio settimana.

🤠 ROAD. when your able to aquire the means to improve your road to the cabin, is. There a spot you can create a rescue helicopter pad, may be a good idea to purchase an ice sled or toboggan to transport human and supplies, if snow shoes are even an option in such terrain, the ones with ice cleats would be my choice. It's good your experiencing the challenges of being stranded, hopefully you can plan an emergency, (if ever you would need ); rescue or supply drop with your local officials, that they are fully aware of your site, and create a signal flags if a relative calls in for a fly-by because communication is nil

Alex, posso chiederti che tipo di catene hai acquistato? Sono anche interessato al tuo sistema di acqua calda, magari potresti fare un video approfondito? Ho trovato la spiegazione in un'occhiata veloce. Ho intenzione di usare la mia energia solare in eccesso per riscaldare un serbatoio a immersione per distribuire l'acqua. Attualmente uso il gas, ma preferirei non farlo perché l'energia solare è sempre gratuita e per lo più abbondante sul lato sud, salvo grandi tempeste di neve di lunga durata.

Ciao, ho preso un paio di catene della Konig, da 16mm alla fine. Per quanto riguarda il sistema di acqua calda farò poi un video riassuntivo che mostra tutto l'impianto con la spiegazione così si potrà capire meglio. Ottima idea la tua di scaldare l'acqua con l'energia solare in eccesso!

I don't understand why you have such a tiny wood burning stove,, it seems you spend an enormous amount of time cutting up little twigs to keep warm when if you would have placed a larger unit you could have used larger pieces of firewood and saved a lot of time and effort. However I thank you for showing your electric pruner as I have purchased one for myself, it is the best thing I've ever done, they are fantastic. The scenery you show is wonderful but I would like to see you doing more work and taking more. Take care ❤

Dopo che ha messo i travi di legno ed avvitato i viti di tenerli un po in profondita, ha fatto con una macchina bucchi sopra dove c'e legno e dentro ha incollato con silicone 1 cent, ma tutti erano nuovi dalla banca. Hai ragione Pietro, sarebbe ottimo come backup per queste situazioni. Diciamo che per l'uso molto limitato ad un paio di volte l'anno, non direi sia poco green anzi, un ottimo compromesso di consumo combustibile
