Good Suggestion but I want to understand what is the tax we will pay for our long-term stock profit withdrawal.... It's kind of white money where Govt gets payed 20-30% every year as tax for our money right? Then how this becomes benefit to us than Real Estate investment!? Tax on stock market capital gain is 10% for holding more than 1 year AND for short term tax is 15%. You need not to pay tax untill you sell the stock and make profit.

Investment on land with proper titles will never fail as availability of land is shrinking by the day be it sites or agricultural land ; simultaneously one should also have liquidity for any unforeseen circumstances ; investment in shares is good provided one is able to keep track of the market on a regular basis ; if possible, one should try and avoid, through proper investment and savings, dependence on one's own children ; and whatever assets one has other than what can be passed on, should remain with oneself and go to children only after one's death !

Sir,we had a piece of land and gave for joint development and got a few apartments,which we have rented out. Don't even think of selling your asset & invest in stock market! There's no guarenteed returns in share market. Many people have lost money in greed of becoming rich. One point everyone should understand is that stock market doesn't generate any money. It's just rotation of money in multiple hands. So few will earn sometimes & others would lose at that time. Next time it may reverse!!
