“A woman is like a diamond💎💎💎💎 the less people see her The more her value increases And everyone wants to have her Because she is so precious, so rare and so dear but the more she shows her charm to people with no Hayaa (shyness) The more her value decreases The more she becomes cheap to them There is a Japanese proverb:”the shyness of a woman is more attractive than her beauty” And there is an Arabic proverb:”the crown of kings is made of gold and the real crown of a girl is her politeness/shyness” 💐💐💐 And the best of all, in Islam Hayaa is the crown of a Muslimah’s good manners!”

Haya is for both men and women in Islam. I don't know why you trying to only make it seem like only woman should have haya even the sheikh gives examples of men and woman in Islam who have had extreme haya he even mentioned prophet Musa as

Ya Ustadh, I was absolutely elated when I got the notification for this. This has been one of the most beneficial series I have seen and it has helped me to understand so much, by the help of Allah. I especially appreciate you mentioning a example from the Salaf about what you are mentioning, that really helps us to remember the lessons (example: someone from the Salaf would stay Bowing for so long that birds would rest on him). May Allah help me to practice what He has helped me to understand.

Al-Qasas 28:24 So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need!" 28:25 Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people. Al-Qasas28:26 One of the women said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy." 28:27 He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be las a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous."

The 21st century hijab does NOT mean: - Dancing around, especially shaking your hips and backside on tiktok or Instagram to promote a product, service or to be “seen”. - Using models to promote “modest Hijab wear” who have half their calves showing, 5cm of their hairline, entire neck and skin tight clothing that leaves nothing left for the imagination. - Posing with a non-Mahram who has his arm around you and sharing it without a second thought on social media. - Having no shame or hayaa’. - It’s okay to play a mixed sport with non-Mahrams, it’s definitely not. - Smoking pot, drinking alcohol, taking drugs or even selling it. - Disregarding your prayers. - Having ‘guy’ mates and catching or giving them lifts. - Being a lesbian or bisexual and “proud.” - Working in a haram environment or selling haram products. - Committing unspeakable acts while being filmed. - Attending cafes or restaurants with friends that turn into a night club scene. This is the worst epidemic we are facing. This is the sad reality of what is happening in our community. I know this because I work with teenagers and women. I not only hear but see these things. It is becoming a minority where women are respecting themselves and the hijab they wear. Maybe it’s because we are becoming so distant from Allah and social media is normalising all the fitan. Maybe it’s because parents are so consumed with their own issues they are selfish and neglecting the amanah of raising righteous children. Maybe it’s because of the high divorce rates and absent fathers. Whatever the reason, Allah does not leave us. He is always there. He is watching. If you have forgotten this then sadly you are lacking god consciousness (Taqwa). There was a time where hijab was held in high regard and the woman who wore it understood the honour, respect and boundaries it placed upon her. It was a sign of piety. Protect yourself. Your honour. Your reputation. Your worth. Committing any of the above mentioned acts harms no one but yourself. You want others to respect you and know your worth, then read the Quran and understand the Sunnah, for those sinful acts are very far from it. Allah swt has honored the woman. Hijab is a form of protection from the fitan of this Dunya. My heart hurts for the young girls who are being so misguided & misinterpreting the true meaning of Hijab, especially when they see grown women disrespecting themselves and their hijab. Hijab is a responsibility. Just because it’s an obligation doesn’t mean we can carry on immorally, unethically and disregard the entire meaning of Hijab. A long time ago, for many, wearing hijab was a conscious decision that came with huge sacrifice and struggle. Nowadays it’s a fashion statement. “It’s what’s attractive.” Hijab is meant to be HARD. It’s meant to be a struggle. This is how we get rewarded. This post should not trigger you or make you feel like you’re being attacked, but only shake you to your core. Every human being is a sinner. We’re supposed to conceal our sins as much as possible. Instead we are magnifying the sin by posting it for the world to see for Likes, Follows and Shares. Yallatif. Remember if you praise a sinful act, it is as though you have committed the sin itself. What’s worse than the ones posting inappropriate content, is the people liking and commenting with encouragement on those videos and posts. You are meant to feel shame for your sins, deep regret and seek repentance. Have we stopped feeling? Reflecting? Loving ourselves? All I see is self-sabotage. So much of it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “There will come upon the people a time when holding onto the religion will be like holding onto hot coal.” Hijab is a banner that we wear that signifies our Deen, Islam. It is seen as a symbol of piety, like a man with a beard who dresses in abaya. Therefore seeing people in a position of ‘piety’ committing major sins is heavily looked down upon and the judgment/reaction is much worse compared to seeing someone who is distant from their Deen. This doesn’t mean that a woman wearing a hijab is more pious or pure hearted compared to a woman who doesn’t wear it. I’m referring to the outside picture here. How we perceive the outlook of a person based on how they portray themselves. When you make the decision to wear the hijab, be conscious of the pressure, responsibility and sacrifices that come with it too. Educate yourself on why Allah has commanded it as an obligation for a Muslim woman. Learn what is acceptable and what isn’t. It’s not just a piece of cloth. It’s a symbol. The hijab is our jihad. Every day we should be struggling to better ourselves. When we sin we do our best to keep it private. We repent. We feel shame. We improve. We don’t display our sin for everyone to see. To either praise or mock. To imitate or condone. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “My entire nation is safe, except Al-Mujahirin (those who boast of their sins). Among the Mujaharah is that a man commits an (evil) act, and wakes up in the morning while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret, he says: “O Fulan! Last night I did this and that.” He goes to sleep while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret but he wakes up in the morning and uncovers what Allah has kept a secret!” [Saheeh Al-Bukhari] When sins are repeatedly mentioned in gatherings, or on social media, etc. the fear of committing sins vanishes from the people’s hearts. First the sin will become easy on people’s tongue and gradually he, who does not feel any shame in mentioning the sin, will not find it difficult to even commit the sin. This is how, sins spread in our community and society. Detox your heart. Detox your circle of influence. Detox from the things you are consuming that are making you feel ‘nothing’. If you are feeling lost, alone, confused, misguided, neglected or used - reach out for help. As long as you are breathing there is always hope for positive change and a fresh start. يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ May Allah swt keep us steadfast on his Deen and guide us to be the best parents we possibly can to raise righteous children, ameen. - Jahida El Assaad

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Shall I not inform you of the best of your actions which are the purest to your Rubb, which exalt you to the high ranks, which are more efficacious than spending gold and silver (in charity), and better for you than you should encounter your enemies whom you will smite their necks and they will smite your necks?" They said, "Certainly." He (ﷺ) said, "Remembrance of Allah the Exalted."
