Must be a big relief to get it running, I'm still trying to get mine to fit properly, doesn't seem to be a cheap solution for the water rail, might have to follow you and get the retroford one.

I wish i had the time and money to do a nice mk2. Few ideas for you the front reservoirs use some black jubilee with the rubber around them one top one bottom to stop it from sliding. i would let some cool air in through the front carbon panels or you are just relying on air flow through the rad. Had it on my rally car kept getting hot. when going along air going underneath can pull hot air out of the engine bay. Keep it up bet you can't wait to get it finished. Im building a mk1 escort at the moment unfortunaly not mine but still enjoying doing it.

Good idea with the resevouirs! Yeah think I’ll add some ventilation throufg the carbon to be honest. They’re all good fun to work on even if they aren’t your own lol
