I really apprecitate you uploading these classic episodes. I grew up watching EP and Reviews on the Run and would look forward every week to tuning in. You and Tommy are a part of my childhood. Thanks so much for the nostalgia dump. Can't wait for more of these episodes to drop.

Vic seems so unenthusiastic or indifferent reviewing Pokémon Snap, but outta no where gives it a 9/10 😂

So many new things happening at the same time, man, I can only be grateful for having seen and experienced all of this.

On the topic of Ready 2 Rumble: "Set the system date to Oct. 31 to place skeletons in the crowd. Set the system date to Dec. 25 to place Christmas trees in the prize fight arena.". Also, you can play as a Leprechaun.

Even back then, Valve were already on the train to City 17... Tiberian Sun, amazing atmosphere and live action camp.

anyone else had a massive crush on Zoe back in the day?

What a time it was. I had just started highschool and EP profiles what will become my favourite JRPG of all time, FF8! ❤🔫🗡

Still bummed about 3DFX kicking the bucket 😂 We need more competition, even in 2024, to just NVidia

Sounds like Tommy wanted Palworld when he was talking about pokemon snap

22:14 "I think the game would have been a lot better if, instead of taking pictures, you had like a shotgun". This is probably one of the most hilarious comments that Tommy ever made on EP, at least for me. That being said, you need to understand where gaming was at in the mid-late 90s/early 2000's to be able to appreciate it.

Forgot all about Jet Moto. This is another franchise Sony needs to bring back.

Was that Earthworm Jim music overdubbed for this upload in the FF8 segments to dodge Square Enix copyright claims, or was it originally like that in the broadcast episode?
@capn_capacitorАй бұрын
Tommy Tallarico did the music for Earthworm Jim, so you hear it in a bunch of the classic EP episodes.
@HydefHydeАй бұрын
@@capn_capacitor I realize this, but the fact that it's playing on top of another piece of music from FF8 during that entire segment makes me think it's a new overdub to try and avoid a copyright strike from Square Enix. It's either that or a straight up mistake someone made during the production of the original episode.

Music is from Wild 9 that Tommy also did.
@mucknstrunzАй бұрын
@@heebs9728 it was in earthworm jim first. but they use it in wild 9 too
@heebs9728Ай бұрын
@mucknstrunz really? That's cool. I really need to go back and play that....I don't think I ever beat it. In my late teens I used to drive around and jam Wild 9 in my car. The ps1 disc worked like a normal cd so I listened to it a lot back then.
