EP 'LIVE ON TAPE. Vol. 1' || Behind the scenes

I'm thrilled to share a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of my upcoming EP, "LIVE ON TAPE. Vol.1," the first in what I hope will be a series. This project is a tribute to the raw, authentic recording methods of the past-capturing the music live, straight to tape, just like they did in the good old days.
The EP is a journey through a variety of genres, showcasing my love for timeless classics. From the soulful blues of Nina Simone's "Work Song" to the romantic warmth of the Bee Gees' "How Deep Is Your Love," the EP also features the passionate rhythms of "Historia de un Amor" and the jazz elegance of Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child."
My goal was to breathe new life into these beloved songs from my childhood, offering fresh interpretations, unique arrangements, and a more acoustic sound. This record is all about the pure joy of making music together, with minimal editing-what you hear is as close to the live experience as it gets.
I can't wait for you to hear it. The first song will be released on September 5th, 2024.
