Actually, you can buy the bits off the shelf, from me :) There is a factory 934/935 steel recessed panel that welds into to front fuel tank opening. Looks like GT racing rear quarters. Best of luck with the project.

Very odd being left hand drive as a lot of the Porsche Works cars were RIGHT HAND DRIVE. For the very reason explained, most race circuits are clockwise so you have more right hand bends. You will be seated on the inside line of the bend....🤔
