When you get into the details of this build, please include the extra oiling and oil cooling. Looking forward to it.

For sure. But I think you’ll be disappointed since it’s not that much different :)

Been watching your videos for a while now, learned alot Quick question 1987 911 3.2 24000 original miles, startup white smoke a little heavy at first, than between revs smoke here and there will not go away. could it be valve guides?

It’s tough to diagnose a motor over the internet. But, what you say seems to make sense. I’d expect more blue smoke but if you say it never goes away most likely oil not just condensation or fuel contaminated. It could also be a frozen ring with that low if mileage. Have you done a compression test?

Car noob here…what is the ‘triangle of death?’
@paulmoran409523 күн бұрын
Top of engine where oil leaks. Can only be accessed with the engine out. Triangle is the oil thermostat, the oil pressure sensor switch and the crankcase breather or vent.

I had a1974 911 2.7, Man the car had more miles going to mechanic than regular driving. Worst engine in the history of the man kind. I was totally broke because of it.

I don't know what you do with your cars but you def either had a bad car or drove it like an absolute maniac. I own a 1977 turbo and have had 0 problems so far. What is a high possibility is that it ran with to much oil (When filling it the engine has to be at 120° and running and even at that point it should never be filled to the max).
