I tore my ACL in my right knee two days ago while playing football. And the very same thing happened where my knee snapped on it's own without anyone touching me. I curled the ball with my right foot to the bottom right corner of the goal and then it tore. What makes it worse is the fact that I've been playing football all my life and this has never happened. I did my warmup and I've been regular to the gym as well. The fear of never returning as the same player frightens me. Watching this has helped me so much. It's reassuring and it's good to know that I'm not alone and that someone has gone through the same thing and has come out stronger. Thank you, @Hector. More power to you!

PLEASE. Big advice because i went through the same thing and I made mistakes. First tip DONT rush take an extra 2 months or so after being cleared to fully strengthen your muscles and skills. Rushing it was my biggest mistakes. Another tip is Make sure you grow a lot of leg muscle so time to hit the gym. Last tip is be cautious on how you play, remember that your ligament now is even more prone to being hurt, so dont be reckless.

If you are here because you've got an injury, from someone that has gone through it before, stay positive and attack the rehab in a can do way! It's a long road back but it does go quickly when you look back at it a couple of years later. The body has a funny way of forgetting things. If you are not a professional sports player like Hector, take your time in getting back to sport, maybe 12 months and just remember that the physio is the most important part to derisking reinjury. It's good that you release a documentary on the whole process, though it's isn't easy to be film during the process. It's already very difficult for professional sports person to recover from this serious injury, let alone a non-professional sports person. Having a good surgeon is one of the key to recovery, but the rehab phase is the toughest of all. It took me 9-10 months to get back to playing football but I learned a lot during the rehab journey on conditioning the body. Can't wait for to watch the rest of the episode.

I randomly came across this series and I've nearly watched every released video and now I'm currently watching Arsenal vs Southampton lol. Never ever thought I'd have interest in soccer but he's really made me like it🤗🤗

We really missed hector. But if he never got injured we wouldn't have this documentary

Love you man ❤🤍! I'm so happy you've made this documentary to give a bit of insight into what it's like to have set backs in professional sports. Interesting stuff and really shows a side you don't think about that much as a fan.

What AN DOCUMENTARY. I am so proud of being one of your fans and so lucky to have you in our team. I am wondering if I can translate it with Chinese substitution and let more Chinese gunners can watch this series? Many thanks

I tore my acl and meniscus last week. I’ve never been so mentally defeated. Surgery next month but I just need to keep my head up and I will recover. Thanks for the video Hector
