The cable run could be a bit more discrete, like running inline with the drain pipe and near the ground. Same with the spur socket left hand entry down the unpainted bricks and along the ground and back up to spur inside. The continuing wire is a great option considering its concrete flagging.

Good video, well made. Little tip, don’t rely on those little covers that come with the outdoor sockets to stop water ingress through screw holes. They’re dog shit. Either silicone the top or over the holes them self. And drill a small drainage hole in the bottom. I’ve learnt the headway! Water gets in the quick and fills up quicker.

Just picked up your new venture after Tom. Best of luck.... you can do it. Small tip, but am sure you know this.. Keep you work space clean and never leave any trace of you being there except your workmanship, be punctual, don't swear (even on your own) and you will be talked about in the best way. When I first went out on my own I had a guy who said all these things to me and have never had to advertise (started 1987) and now retiring. But I am decorator and maintenance and have seen sparkys come and go as they felt that someone else should tidy behind them. Go for it. Bob in Weston super Mare.

@@adamsharp201 I can comment on Electrician's work but as I did my apprenticeship in the Aircraft Industry where we also had to learn advanced building maintenance I can also view trades at all levels. If you read what I had said and not come out with the trite and normal comment re decorators, you might just have picked up a hint or two. At the level of custom I have had over the years and organisations I have had the pleasure to work with, I am happy that I have never had in all those years a customer complaint. I have had the unfortunate experience of informing a fully time served electrician that a circuit was live only to be ignored for the same reasons you spout.... It has a much thicker sheath than firesure etc and is stiffer but has multi stranded. cables. Its stiffer to dress on walls etc so makes a nicer job. Not sure if its only in white. Don't think id use it underground.

It should be fine, the only thing I'd be worried about is sagging and poor looks because it's flexible. I'd suggest clips every 200 mm, possibly even 150. For HiTuf solid (NYY) you can go up to around 250 but this looks more like 400.
