Absolutely missed Brett in every season post his death in the series.. He was one of the factors why the first trailer impressed us all so much and loved the first season... I'm so happy to see that you're revisiting some episodes from season one which is so awesome! I was thinking of how great it would be to continue watching random episodes throughout all the seasons, or even just watch the first & finale episodes of each. It would be so awesome to see some of my old favorites again (I especially miss Hunter, Bobbi, & Lincoln!) and I think it would be a great trip down memory lane. Oh, he's right. Sybill could have use Chronicons with all the enemies through seasons. Even if it was for a second. A switching/choosing body. Can you imagine 2 Seconds of AIDA? of Ward? Talbot? Also, I really want a Deke's spin-off since it's in another timeline so everything can happen. I mean, he can recruit an alternative avengers team. He could save Ward, work with him and he'll never turn bad. Since Shield is mostly destroyed, they could search for young Fury, young Coulson, young Stark, baby Maria Hill. They already have Mac. All the big characters without paying millions to the actors. Maybe Work on getting Fitz and Jemma's parents together somehow. Elizabeth could use a prosthetic and play her mom. Oh! so many adventures. I wish I had the discipline to write a fanfiction about it. You think Jeff would like the idea? I have so many ideas and so little discipline to actually sit and write. Anyways, one can dream about actually being paid for the thing I study at the university.

Brett, if you read this, you were one of my favs on Shield and missed you when you left. I would have liked for the team to intervene in your past in a way that your character didn’t have to experience all the trauma that made him a villain. Then when they get back to real time they show you as a good guy again in shield. Just a brief 60 secs is all it would have taken to give you a nice ending.

in regards to Ward's redemption question. There have been several scenes in season 2 where it felt (and hoped) a redemption arc was on the table and going to happen. The whole of season 3 having bits of him showing up to aid the team or help getting them out of a pinch, perhaps from the shadows at first. Could have made Malick being the acting hydra head from the start and Hive using Will's body instead of Ward's.

In the finale, Zephyr 3 is about to go into a nebula. I was watching a video about Rom, The Space Knight comic title. I remembered the Black Nebula as the home of the Dire Wraiths, an offshoot of the ancestors of the Skrulls who infiltrated and conquered worlds. [Skrull shapeshifters are actually the Deviant race from Celestial experiments, and Dire Wraiths developed from another race, and there are no Skrull Eternals.] I could see the Zephyr crew being used as a route to Secret Invasion, and Coulson recruiting New Warriors and Fury commanding the forces of SWORD and SHIELD with each division having a commander like Brand and Mack. We should have a sidereal story where Director Deke recruits Ward into the Deke Squad. [Next time, ask him what instrument he would play. ] :)
