Dave's being modest - his world record was one of the great ones for the time.

What a great athlete Dave Moorcroft was and a genuine nice guy. 1982 was a particularly special year for him with pb’s from 800m upwards. The special races being the 5K WR and the European 3K RACE and Record. 👍🏅⭐️🏃🏿‍♂️

i met Dave in Milton Keynes in 2012. They say never meet your hero. Well i did and wasnt dissapointed. |Generous with his time

I just saw on the London news about ,the diamond League may not happen at the Olympic stadium ,and wonder why there couldn't have it at crystal palace national stadium just for one season ,?

What Olympic Stadium? Re-named the London Stadium!! So much for the Olympic Legacy Seb! Sadly, the great old Crystal Palace stadium that has a real athletic legacy has been left to rack and ruin by the local authorities!
