If I may share two observations that really jumped at me. First is around 3:48. Eivind didn't take Espen's hand even though they were walking side-by-side. NOR did Espen reach out. And second is around 5:45. Aksel (sorry if I mix up or misspell your kids' names, bear with me) is helping Espen climb the tree. HELPING not pushing him up. He just makes sure the Microorganism doesn't slip. I don't know if this is typical and don't want to make conclusions based on two seconds of watching a youtube video. But I REALLY like this attitude. We're here, we're ready to help, but we let you do it yourself. I don't know what it's like to grow up like that, but it looks REALLY cool from the outisde.

Interesting observations 😊💙 Yeah, no this is totally normal for our family - and maybe alot of other Norwegian families. Our 2 oldest(Aksel & Nikolai - yes, good memory on the spelling 😉) went to an outdoor daycare where they were allowed to climb high in trees and use sharp knives to de-bark sticks. Eivind also grew up with parents who gave him alot of freedom. They seem to be safer this way bc they figure out themselves where most boundaries should be(with a little guidance, of course). Espen is also the youngest and really wants to live up to the abilities of his older brothers 💙😌

Thanks for sharing this video! We saw alot of places we also have been too, but we were subrised how full the marina was. You were only 4 or 5 weeks behind us and when we arrived there, it was totally empty 😊 Looking forward to more videos!

Good video, especially the first half. I watch videos like this so I can vicariously visit places I’ll never travel to. Video was a bit too long, too much of the biking video - my personal preference is 15 minute videos which I watch while doing an elliptical workout. I’m envious of the youthful energy of your boys, running down a hill only to climb back up so they can run down the hill again. Oh to be a boy again!

Uff - I know... I had the gopro attached to my handlebar - not the best option. My boys train me about filming as we travel and I get some good tips and use the Gimble alot more as we go. Sorry about the headache - I kinda got dizzy editing that part but decided to leave it in...

I'm thinking back to your house back in Norway. It is squeezed between three (or maybe even four) other houses. HOW THE HECK did your kids spend their energy in that confined space. They need the entire Africa!!!! If that's enough.

🤣 Yes- the boys are all over the place, but luckily we have a big field next to the house, the school's playground next door and lots of sidewalks to run to their friends'. 👌
