EP153 Finishing the basic forming of the oil cooler fairing. Fisher Youngster

In this video I finish of the beating of the cowl cover and manage to get the required curves to match the cowl of my Fisher Youngster.

I guess any project of this length and complexity will see enthusiasm ebb and flow and so it's perhaps not surprising to see you looking a little jaded. However, I've no doubt you'll see it through and the next major milestone (first engine run?) will spur you on. Great work throughout! Keep it up!

You are right but my main down is the gaining of hangar rash with a hole punched through the covering, thankfully it is Oratex so easy to repair but it will still show a bit 😞 Hay Ho things happen and it could be worse.

That is how it goes with nearly all aircraft builds 🙂 Although I have been going a chunk slower recently due to work commitments.

That came together nicely! One an unrelated note, do you intend to support the ends of your exhaust pipes?

No the pipes are fairly well ballanced around the rear pipe, so I think it should be alright, especially as the rear section is a little thinner material that the main sections.
