Hi Trustin, so a video of what once was has become a part of what now is. And, on your channel the past and the present have met to give a glimpse of the future, a consequence perhaps, or a fixed and consolidated perspective of what was once to come that is now manifest, and all of this has taken place on my birthday, which was perhaps the theme of a potential future event for me, in the past when you made this video. Time wraps itself around us all like a blanket of dreams, weaving fantastic patterns into our purpose loving minds as living themes that seem eternal, into faces and places that appear to be wholly new until we discover the ancient meanings of theme, and until we understand that we, the exploring minds of the living and breathing soul that is essentially us and central to me, have become the seemingly static vessel of a clockwork and fixed tick-tock time that we identify as ruling both us and the outside world, without grasping its patterns and/or the basic themes of a mostly ignored expression of the timeless life of a now that exists within us to tell us who we are and/or can be as we become the next part of our soul's spirited journey amongst the other souls living on this earth. The vessel or the contents, the inherited flavours within the soup or the adopted, manufactured schemes, and still life flows on to renew itself and to devour its own wonderful creations, as a way to allow its souls to develop and to be born again amidst the confusing themes of an almost wholly new living development. Seriously Trustin, words are just confusing symbols as patterns that try to explain what the camera sees and what each of us can experience directly. My reality says that this video was great birthday gift and that its is always good to watch you at work. Loved the magic helmet that appeared at 4.28.

Although I have been a DIYer most of my life, those days are done. My next move is to my retirement condo, lol. But wondering. This is not a method I have seen before. Will chinking still be required? And would you say this method is easier. It certainly has a nice clean look.
@TrustinTimber3 жыл бұрын
Once I move the cabin to the final location I will insulate and put a sealant between the logs as they go down. You wont really see much of it when it's all put together. Is it easier? No, but it just made more sense for my situation and I like the clean look as well. When the cabin is done, you'll see I designed a much more modern look then traditional log cabin. I'm blending modern minimal design with traditional methods.

Some of your language used is a bit redundant i.e. "my wife is pregnant with our first child." Could have said 'We'll soon be having our first child.' The use of the word 'pregnant' is thus just a filler word.
