Ordered a pair of Nicks boots and a pair of Whites one month later. Received the White's boots four weeks after ordering them. It is now four months and no Nicks boots. There is going to have to be something super special to want to wait for another pair from Nicks

Neither pair of boots featured look broken in to me. They look barely worn. You should review them again. I’ll bet they’re even better. I was told that you don’t really break them in, they break you in. Also, resole times will always be long, just buy a second pair and stop worrying.

Could you please explain the benefit of a wood stove like you have vs a campfire? Thank you
@TrustinTimber9 күн бұрын
I do both, can't remember the specific reason this day but maybe forest fire prevention mindset. Also uses less wood, less smoke in the face and easiervyo control heat when cooking.

They’re not sponsoring this video, but they’re sponsoring some cabin builders that you’re doing. Lol disqualified

I am considering these boots. I wear a 13EE sneaker as well as your mass produced work boot. My Red Wing Iron Ranger is a 12 D and fits great on my left foot, but is still pretty snug on the right. According to the Nicks chart it says I should be an 11.5 EE. I’m worried that will be too small. Like you I am in Canada so would like to hit it right the first time. Thanks for the input.

Just curious, Did you assemble it all with the intention of taking apart and moving shortly thereafter? If so how did it work coming apart with the natural shrinkage and such that happens with wood ? Will anything need to be done differently to reassemble? Sorry for all the questions but I’m looking at a very similar situation and am curious if it’s been worth it.

Merry Christmas to you & your family. I enjoyed this build and always hoped you’d stick to your plan of making a movable cabin AND doing it! And now you started the move. It’s almost like starting all over again instead it’s not. So exited to see you rebuild it, only better with all your experience from this build making it even better at it’s new location. Wishing you all good in 2025. Be seeing you from afar in your vids once again!

I probably mean Celsius. I live in Canada. I don't think I'd sleep in it in -20F

@craftsodaАй бұрын
cool project and fun cabin concept. I get the idea with the roof line and angle, but personally feel its missing slightly. If its going to be left open, i'd want the overhang in the front out further and in a lean-to style, not as steep of an angle. as is, its a bit of a roof to nowhere, as it leaves the upper story quite exposed. food for thought, thanks for sharing the build.
@TrustinTimberАй бұрын
