1:01:09 I got into Oakstreet because I purchased one of the Butterscotch x Oakstreet collabs as my first pair of boots ever. (trench boot, color 93 chromexcel, 360 degree storm welt, commando sole, cap-toe, 2 speed hook) It's been almost a year since then, and I'm just amazed at how these boots look and feel. That was my gateway drug into leather.

Couldn't agree more. Especially when he went on a tangent on saving $0.60 per boot and that wasn't a priority for these companies when it absolutely is. Also side stepped the leather board question on why it's used... hint hint it's to save money!

I like oak street a lot. I feel like their quarter and back stay area of their boots are a little flimsy and should be stronger but that’s a subjective gripe I guess. Other than that, their boots are great. Their oxfords are great. I wish they would go back to making their bluchers.
