You are the sweetest of couples, don't ever change. I loved this video, makes me long for the English countryside. Nice to see you taking a well deserved break, and don't lose heart. Holly is beautiful and she'll be well worth all the hard work. I'm hoping that one day, God willing, I'll be able to stop by for a coffee and a dairy free ice cream. From an Ex-pat in Ontario. P.S I'm fairly new to the vlog and I just wondered if anyone else has ever said how much Vic looks like a young version of Colin Firth?

Hitchcock would be proud😱, what a great place to stay. I love the autumn colours but definitely feel a sense of being overwhelmed at the speed of mother nature’s changes, as if time is running out. Unlike the Spring when it feels like bright sunny possibilities and new growth. Maybe I’ve got hedgehog leanings to hibernate 😝. Bet you are both feeling recharged from your time away. 🥳x

We are staying in Millers Dale in the beginning of May for the fourth time. That was quite the hike. I've climbed out from the Monsal Trail like you did near Millers Dale and had a memorable trip through a field full of cows who I hoped wouldn't be spooked and stampede over me. Always have to take a picture at Monsal Head and get an ice cream.

OK... here goes. That was brill; thank you very much. As an exiled Derbian (here in deepest, darkest Southern England) I enjoyed seeing many familiar landscapes. And... (sycophancy NOT) that is in addition to our labelling you as the best new canal boat channel of 2020 (and better than most established ones too). Ok, so we love your channel... you seem really decent people (yes I know hat sounds patronizing but how else can one say it?) and your video production qualities are excellent. Your videos seem friendly and bloggy but they are always done so very well. OK, the Americans might say "we love you guys!" but we cannot say that - we're British, we don't know you and that would be far too forward. Besides, if you knew us, you might hate us and then we would be over-committed. Anyway, Vic's trepidation about brand-confusion for your channel is not seen here; thank you for videoing, even on your break, and for such a great September fillip in this October monsoon. NB London Boat Girl, Lorna, has just rebranded her channel "Lorna Jane Adventures" but I think you should keep "Holly - The Café Boat" - a great advert for when you start catering but that does not say "Holly - The Café Boat - and NOWT else! - Variety is the spice of boat-life, etc. Stay safe, don't over-work and we look forward to having a coffee on board one day, we hope. PS sorry my spell-checker keeps accenting that French coffee word - it doesn't know how we pronounce it in Derbyshire (ie "Kaff"). Cheerio.
