In this episode we sail out next to a ferry, exciting in a bad way :) Staying at the same anchorage in Själö seems like a great idea so we do that. Next day we head south in preparation for the crossing back to Stockholm, it was a great sail down there even if we did get slowly beaten by another sailor :)

I've been to utö as well. I'm 25% finnish. Super nice place. One part is the water place on the other side when you arrive with baldur. It's un descripable how amazing it is. Like you can't explain it in words. One of the cooles tthings I've ever seen. Trust me, I've seen a lot of really cool things.

"It is always a race, baby!" Well, when on deck, you would like to be on my tri. But when down below, I'm sure you prefer the Hanse 😁. It is not a matter of sailing faster but also to be able to sail in very light winds. My boat is in Flensburg Fjord now and still has petrol in the 30l tank that I got in Degerö /Åland last June. It was enough to sail back home and all the rest of the season. Wish you all the best, especially a solution to keep Aurora.

Hi Udo, dam right it's always a race :) I just need that code 0 now and we will be set for those light winds. Wow you have a trimaran? Always wanted to try one of those, I have been looking at the dragonflies in the archipelago, they really do fly along. If you still have fuel from Åland then you must have been doing well it must have been a great sail down from there. We are itching to get the new season started and say goodbye to the financial troubles at the moment. We have a plan on that front, there are a couple of details to work out but we are not too worried now, all will be revealed. Skål Chris and Tanja

Nice to see you in my home town Turku! And yes it is always a race 😀 Do you mind sharing the boat make and model which overtook you.

Hi there, Turku is a great place we also have a couple of people we know there with Hanse's. I actually don't know what the boat was. here is a picture of it so you can match it to something if you like: www.dropbox.com/s/bkfjwpx2edalrqj/P1055599.jpg?dl=0 My guess would be a Jeanneau Sun Odysey 40, mates up closely with this one: www.performanceboating.com.au/listing/jeanneau-sun-odyssey-40 To be honest with you I am no sail trim expert, I am still learning and perfecting. So maybe it was a combination of bad sail trim on my side, lack of sail area on the jib, slightly less area on the main with a little less roach (in mast furling) and a little bit of a dirty bottom that contributed to a 1 knot difference. I have all the excuses in the world, haha :) cheers Chris and Tanja

Another great video in a stunning area. Pleased your keeping up standards with the full English while sailing😀 Videos are great tonic while we are all hibernating! Love the WTF wreck! Take care. PS I upgraded to 20kg Rocna.

Thanks Jon, love the comments. We are looking at a longer length of chain, probably 50 metres and a bigger Delta or Ultra anchor. I would love to put a Rocna on but we just cant with the bow spirit on there :( so have to see if we can fit a 20kg delta like one on there. Also looking at extra rope for the rode, our dealer recommended 20mm rope, which is way to big for the windlass so selling that. Have you found some rope that works with the windlass? Reading up on some forums about this also.

Chris, We added 30 meters of 16mm 3 strand which was Inspiration Marines recommendation for the standard winch. Lots of good reading out there, I found Jimmygreen.com a good site with sound info, especially in their knowledge centre on anchoring tab. Stay safe.

Lovely sailing in a beautiful part of the world. The Hanse 418 sails very well. Nice vlog and good background music. Oh! please tell us the coordinates of where you found the swimming mermaid😜

Hi Peter, yea she does great when there is a good wind, then she really gets going. It's the slightly lighter wind that lets her down a little with the small jib. We will be looking for a Code 0 as the fist additional sail and this will cover the gap nicely. Yup the swimming mermaid seems to turn up every morning in the water and I mean every morning :) Cheers, Chris and Tanja
