Hey Paul; great vid as always. Slovenia looks like a fab place to visit. The ride from Ljubljana to Vienna was fairly uninviting though, good that you kept it short! 🙂. I know "needs must" and all that and then you get a day off to see Vienna, so I guess worth it in the end. I'm interested in your view, though: if you had a choice would you do two days 130-140 miles each or one day 270 miles motorway and then a day off the bike?

It so depends on where you are riding from/to. As you say, sometimes needs must and some of the organisers daily mileages demanded a faster route… but not my normal choice TBH. 👍

I'd personally prefer to avoid motorways, unless a short connection section but to answer you...I don't look at 270 miles on a m/way as a hard day, I just avoid it whenever possible!
