Low self-esteem is at the root here. Zero self worth. Men can only do what you allow. Unfortunately there is no reward for enduring nonsense. He was wrong to mistreat you. You were wrong to stay if you felt you didn't deserve it. And anything bad that could happen to that man is NOT karma for mistreating you. It would've happened anyway because he's living & the rain falls on the good and wicked. I'm no therapist but do inbox me if you need to learn how to build your self worth & identity from the core. Not through academic achievements or getting your nails done. Stay strong sister. I'm praying for you and all women plagued by self hate. ❤❤❤

You couldn't have said it better. When you really value yourself you will not let anyone or any many trample all over you. It's not really about all being presentable and good education. It goes beyond that. Funny how l thought abuse may be associated with poverty and illiteracy. These men seem to abuse even doctors, engineer, powerful educated women especially by men with lower caliber and academic achievements. So abuse knows no boundaries

"Not through academic or getting your nail done". 👏👏👏👏👏 most of the women are suffering from low self-esteem and they think being married is a solution but they are wrong. Everything start with you. You got to love yourself first before somebody else can love you. See yourself beautiful before somebody else can se you that you are beautiful.

As a woman l think we are too desperate for marriage that's why men abuse us like this. Funny how l thought abuse seems to be rife with educated and financially sound women. Are men threatened by your power. Women be wise. One abusive marriage is bad enough but going for a second marriage which is abusive is a non negotiable. Let's do better ladies honestly.
@starrjohnson13275 ай бұрын
I'm not desperate. Many men have tried to marry me. When I see the red flags I make an exit plan. Some abusers will be nice to your family so they can know your whereabouts. They will stalk you at your job, house, anywhere. Family and society pressure makes some women stay too. Pray and be strong! I feel for this woman and her children. Abuse is terrifying.😢
@dot5105 ай бұрын
But you can't blame women only, there something fundermentally wrong with the system when it comes to raising girls. We are trained to become desperate. Even when I tell people now that we have to stop telling girls that if they don't sleep around some good guy will marry them and they live happily ever after( not to promote promiscuity) because that is training them for failure, infact they should just forget about marriage cause boys are not even dreaming about it. But most parents even to this day still think that is being harsh or bitter but look at the after effects. It's very sad!! I'm afraid this is too deep it cannot be changed in adulthood at least for most people, we can only try. 17:16

This was so heartbreaking to watch. I really hope Ausi Mokgadi can get therapy and a good deliverance session, it seems like she is unable to deal with her obscured sense of unworthiness. I wish she could just get rid of this inadequate "Katlego" that she has created in her head and stop listening to those negatives thoughts and voices she will be fine. It's easier said than done I know cuz it sounds like a bulk of her adult life she has shrunk down her inner most being, what makes her Katlego, down to nothing. I actually think this started when she fell pregnant the first time. The lack of any emotion be it disappointment, acceptance, joy or anger from her parents was the first incident where she was not given a chance to process her emotions of the disappointment she felt she caused. And it was just swept under the carpet as if nothing happened. I think that's where she should consider starting to heal cuz everything after that seems to be about achieving and not being a disappointment to her family. Her biggest upset while growing up was seeking affection and attention and anyone who could check ✅ that box was let in red flags and all. The reason why she says towards the end that she is unable to deal with stuff she created is probably because she never learned how to. It's almost like how she deals with problems is by achieving, unfortunately that's not a good formula. In life problems that we don't deal with eventually accumulate and it becomes alot harder to deal with them especially if you don't have the tools to. You have all these wonderful things you have achieved but yet you feel so empty, it also sounds like you have a wonderful gift of healing others through your voice yet still you feel unworthy to use it. Don't let the devil steal your destiny sis, you are beautiful, you are adequate, God loves you, we love you and we all out here routing for you. It was so brave of you to share your story, I believe this will be the beginning of your healing journey. As cliché as this will sound just know "everything happens for a reason" and the reason is always for our own good. You are going to come out of this a much stronger woman. You are giving birth to the new you, U just gotta let go of the old Katlego and let madam K sit on her thrown. All the best to you and may God bless you, heal you and guide you on the next amazing chapter of your life🎉❤ Madam Speaker keep doing what you do best🎉❤

Mna shame, I don't see myself bothering my parents about who they love, little loving and all that foolishness among us siblings. I believe that they have the liberty to love better any child they choose to. Loving a child better than others is innate. For example, my brother, the first born in the family was loved more than us all. He was their favorite. Do I have to contend with that? No. That was their first child. They saw by that child that they could procreate. To me it's innate, it's natural for them to love their baby. Even God doesn't love us all the same. I think that way. Kunjalo.
