That is the way I do it. Good workmanship. Its all about attention to detail. The only thing I do differently is use Weldwood glue in some places.

Once again, fascinating to watch you work. One thing crossed my mind when I saw the size of the ribs, it looks more like a large model plane rather than one in which you are going to take to the air.. Regards Michael

Thanks Michael, in a way it is just like large model, remember though it is a biplane so the individual wings are small.

It is going to amazing to think, when the wings are made, how many little bits of wood stuck together they represent.

That is the thing, aeroplanes are, like looking at a 1000 piece jigsaw from a distance not until you get near do you see all the pieces.

How detailed are the instructions or do you just decide yourself how to achieve each stage?

The instructions a very basic, for example the wing build instructions for both sets of wings are 1 1/2 sides od A4 of writting and about as side of sketch drawings (and to top it off not match what is on the plan in some areas). So for me I rely on the notes on the plans and my experiance, to work it out for myself. I take it you are bord so having a look at some of my earlier build videos?!

@@flyingkub thanks no not bored it must of come up in my YT suggested list as I hadn't seen this one. So my theory is correct, you need to be an accomplished engineer to even consider trying to build this 🙂

@@ShortField I don't think you have to go that far, I think if you could build model aircraft from plans and asked questions in builder groups you could do it, without many issues.
