[EP5] Making a Fuel Tank Without a Sheet Bender - HAINES SIGNATURE 530F RESTORATION

This episode I successfully make a 135L alloy fuel tank without the use of a hydraulic sheet bender or press. All up this cost me under $300, less than a quarter of what I was quoted from a shop. The sheeting was purchased from Ulrich Aluminium in Caloundra, and the fittings are from the fabrications section of Aeroflow. The KBS gold fuel tank sealant can be purchased through their website.
This series features the total restoration of a very cheap Haines Signature 530F in need of a lot of work. It aims to educate people on how to perform good quality, but very budget orientated repairs and modifications to all things mechanical.
