This gotta be one of the best videos about head movement I've ever seen. Quick question coach... For rolls, do I start the movement by slightly turning my head in the direction the punch is coming as if I was performing a slip and then drop down or do I just drop down immediately no turning? I'm getting mixed information on this from different coaches. I noticed your fighter did turn when he was rolling to his right and you said it was ok. I'm trying to learn the correct way. Thank you in advance.

I have a question about mitts . Should we punch the mitts with power or we just focus in speed and techniques when we throw the combinations ? Thanks in advance
@PullmansGym3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question! Like most boxing drills, when hitting the mitts, it is most important to have proper technique. Once your technique is good, you can go faster and harder, but you want to make sure you are punching the right way first before focusing on speed or strength. Please let us know if you have any more questions!

Question as a orthodox fighter and I throw a jab and he counters with a right hand if I’m catching a right hand is it the same as a slip to the inside with my hand up higher
@PullmansGym3 жыл бұрын
Hi James, thanks for your question! Yes it can be the same as a slip to the inside with your hand up higher, that is definitely one way of doing it.
