This kid is an excellent instructor. Very few instructors teach as proper, slow, and meticulously as he does.

For some reason so many teachers don't understand how to break down all the elements involved in boxing. Punching, rolling, slipping. They just do whatever they're teaching, hoping you pickup on what's exactly happening. It is beyond frustrating. It's like they were never new to boxing like the people they're trying to teach. You're one of the few that actually breaks it down. Props, and thank you!

Thanks so much! I think it's hard for many experts to break down the knowledge that is inherent to them in a way that is digestible to someone who is brand new. Thanks so much for the kind words.

This was the best demonstration and explanation, how to roll properly and chain the roll with different strikes. Hands down man, great work. 1. You have very well and clearly described the weight transfer and foot position. 2. Perfectly demo`d how to chain roll with different strikes, especially - hook, roll, jab/cross, roll. 3. Very well setup the timing and splitting the different phases. showing that in slow-motion first, then chaining with other strikes. 4. I have never seen anyone else on youtube giving it so much depth and making it easy to comprehend and also nonthelest, remember all different combos. 5. As we all know, it is very important to finish a strike or combo with defensive moves, which you perfectly demonstrated.

Thank you! I'd like to see the z-axis view, so I can tell how far forward and backward the boxer moves

I’ve always known hooks to be a 3 or a 6? I thought 4-5 were uppercuts?
@tommyduquette265 Жыл бұрын
Thats how I learned as well but different gyms/people have different number systems. We use the most standard one where 1-2 = jab and cross, 3-4 equals the hooks and 5-6 = the uppercuts.
