Oh guys! Every time you add a piece to complete your gorgeous château my heart breaks a little for you. How on earth are you going to be able to give it all up when you sell??? FYI, I watch almost every the château channels as I am truely obsessed but I have to say Ed and Anna you guys are so super genuine and kind, it shows in your banter and your down to earth honesty. Please don’t ever change! It’s so refreshing.

I would do everything to keep a labour of love like what they’ve built but I do believe they had mentioned it on both their channel and Stephanie’s Château Diaries channel when Ed and Anna gave Steph and Phillip a tour that they will in actual fact be selling. I think even on this video they said they didn’t want to spend too much on the chandelier because it will be going up for sale. My heart just breaks for them. I do hope they will surprise us at some point and say that they will keep it! It’s just too beautiful

The mirror is perfect in that space above the fireplace. The gold frame and chandelier really pop against the grey walls. Trés riche.

All the rooms look beautiful but this one in particular, it's so restful with the light colours and the level of finish is very professional and the mirror is perfect, really beautiful. Anna, you can buy many sterling silver, brass and copper wire pieces on line, findings for making earrings that would be just what you need for attaching the crystals. You can also buy, by the reel. As a sideline to flickering globes... back in the 90's I payed half price for a brass Dutch styled chandelier, the shop was moving but the room it was to live in was yet to be built.. When it was finally up I found - Flicker Candle globes, they looked wow on display in the shop, in my dinning room it was something else... all those lights and you couldn't see a thing - I had howls of laughter on Christmas night as we ate dinner in The Haunted Mansion! I had good a laugh at Billy's Halloween chandelier, remembering Christmas 1997! They were $10 each and are still in a draw... Great video, love this home... 🏛 🦘

Looks great for a lot less money. I think you are needing jump rings ( the jewelry item) to reconnect the crystal bits. I liked the mirror too. Especially after a cleaning 😁😉.

Ya Know, this shows what a beautiful job you 2 have been doing. It also shows how keeping to your budget evens everything out so it all fits together and flows. One doesnt need the most costly. Beautiful chandelier. Kids, I am thinking that while you are out in brocante's , look through boxes of loose prisms to find actual quartz prisms. They are not crystal in the sense of glass but, actual stone. With enough of them you could end up with a chandelier that would not only be incredibly beautiful, but a statement piece you could cherish. Best to you both...

Ijust LOVE that red room.. Oh my god.. Warmth and calm, despite its being a red room (feng shui). I so hope you can find a way to keep this place, you have put in so much love, soul and effort in to it, it simply cant belong to anyone else but you guys.. I know it might detract from its authenticity, but I would be tempted to remove all of the hanging crystals and reattach them with new jump rings just for added security. It is a beautiful piece, and assuring that it stays that way is quite important.

The chandelier is too small for the room size and whenever you are dealing with prisims it is always a good idea to place a carpet or other thick material beneath just in case one of the prisims lets loose. When you go cheap, you get what you pay for.
