Incorrect, allow your blind following and watch the video of the debate on Asrar Rashid's channel. He did not once praise insults against the Prophet peace be upon him. In summary, Shaykh Noorud Deen made a video about Abu Yazid al Bistami (rahimahullah) wherein he said that Abu Yazid insulted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (accusing him of kufr). The statement discussed was “my banner is greater than the banner of Muhammad”. In response to this video, the young 17 year old boy Hassan read the full passage from the source tadhkiratul awliya and gave the full citation. Whilst Hassan was clearly quoting the text, Shaykh Noorud Deen misunderstood Hassan to be saying that “Allah spoke through Abu Yazid”, which was a quote from the text and Hassan was NOT defending the statement. Rather, he explained the reason this statement was made, in a spiritual state of awe (الدهشة), for which he would not be accountable as Abu Yazid HIMSELF then said it was kufr, asking to be killed if he repeated it again, which shows he does not believe it. Hassan explained the full context in his video which Shaykh Noorud Deen omitted. In the meeting, Shaykh Asrar brought forwards the urdu text used as the original source, which is a translation of the farsi text; however, Shaykh Noorud Deen clearly said he does not care. He is not interested in correcting his knowledge or understanding of the situation. Rather, from this video, it can be seen that he wants to attack the 17 year old boy for reading the full citation that he missed out. He needs to apologise and humbly accept this mistake. Abu Yazid is a great wali (saint) of Allah and Allah promises to wage war against those who attack them, let alone accuse them of kufr

Regarding the deobandi positions, the issue is not solely historic blasphemous comments. The issue is the deobandis continuing to defend the statements The statements against Brailvis are also accepted by the Deobandis as before the divide they were both part of the same group.
