I don't even have words for how awesome this interview is.... Lance is amazing, he's so right about the Noomi/Ridley dynamic and how disparate each part of the movie felt. 10/10 for this sci-fi fan.

Lance is pure fucking gold when it comes to interviews, the guy is so damn honest its hard to not relate to him. Its nice to see someone without that hollywood BS filter where they say the same shit over and over and you just tune it out cause its just white noise. This was damn fun to watch - I hope you get more interviews.

Thx comicgirl19! I have a major crush on Lance (oh that VOICE!) and admire his work. In interviews he seems witty and likable. I love that you (cg19) & your Mom watched X-Files together, then Millennium. My daughter and I watched those shows every week while her classmates and their moms swooned over Baywatch. Now my daughter is a cosplaying anime' geek who has addicted me to stuff like GoT and Penny Dreadful. Sometimes we quote Lance from Stone Cold (abysmal movie, epic villain) on the last words of his father: "Don't son, that gun is loaded!" You'd be surprised how applicable that line is to everyday situations if one has a warped mind. I've watched DREADFUL movies because Lance was in them. However bad the flick, Lance always brings game. And class. Comicgirl19, I'm glad to be a subscriber to your fun channel. I'm 58, but if we met I suspect we'd chatter until our throats were dry. Thx for being you. If you ever have the opportunity to assure Lance he's still charismatic and has adoring fans, count me on that list.

This is so fucking awesome I can't even. Lance Henriksen has been my favorite male actor -- of all time, out of everyone -- since his stunning performance in the TV series 'Millennium'. Lance was ASTOUNDING in that. To this day that's the performance I turn to when I think of a truly great, ego-less, nuanced and powerful portrayal that felt 100% free of artifice. And Lance is such an incredibly interesting and impressive person off the screen too. Yeah. I'm just thrilled by this in every way. Thanks, CBG19! And thanks to you too, Sir. I'm a huge fan.

Awesome interview! Lance is so cool and I love a lot of the topics that you've covered. Millennium is one of my favorite TV series of all time and my dad and I used to watch every episode on Friday nights back when it aired on Fox in the '90s. Still crack up every time I see Lance as parody character Rocket McGrain in "Jose Chung's Doomsday Defense". I had no idea that he wrote a comic and now I've got to pick it up. In 2002, Lance did the voice for the main character of a video game for 3DO, called "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse". I was so bummed when it was cancelled! But I was happy when he made another voice acting role as a villain in the Neversoft western game "Gun", or other roles in "Mass Effect", etc. Great to see when he tries all sorts of forms of art; pottery, movies, writing, voice acting, etc.

It just bothers me how some actors aren't more well known. Not that Lance hasn't had a legit career, but the last 20 years really should have been filled with successful movie roles for him. I feel the same about actors like Rutger Hauer, Kyle Maclaclan, among others.

THIS. Lance & Alice Krige are my two acting heroes, and neither have had many high profile roles. Alice especially has had very little film or TV work. And they're both so *good*. Meanwhile, models hired to 'act' are everywhere, usually turning in the sort of dead-eyed, dreadful performances one pretty much expects. I don't get it!

Mr. Henriksen is in my heart ever since he gave life to Frank Black, in my all time favorite TV show Millennium (talk about underappreciated). If The X-files were about finding the truth out there, Millennium was about finding the truth in here (point to your heart). Audiences were not ready, I think with shows like 'Hannibal' and 'True Detective', the show would really stand out at this moment. Kudos again for another awsome video, CBG19! In my country we have a saying in spanish: "You got me on my pleasure vein". I think it's sefl-explanatory (And may I also add, CBG19 is turning me into a junkie).
