I connected this camera to asiair plus to grab some videos for stacking. About 3 seconds into the video capture the video started blinking like the gain values were being changed up and down rapidly. ZWO customer support confirmed that this is a bug. That was a month ago. They have stopped responding to emails. So a $400 speciality camera with a bug such that it becomes unusable in 70% use cases. I am not holding my breath for the company to release a fix. But they still have this for sale. Consider that before you purchase.

Ryan, have you considered using a parfocal ring on the guide camera? Once you get focus you tighten the screws on the ring. It will also cover that gap. Nice video by the way! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Thanks for watching and the advice. I had heard of them but never looked into them. Just looked at a few options, may definitely loo into one once I get everything installed and working. Need to make sure this is going to work for me before investing too much more, especially this close to the holiday's. LOL Clear Skies

​@astroimagingjourney8517 for anyone reading this and wondering ... I got a package of 2 parfocal rings from SVBONY for 10 bucks I think? If you use one on the camera, especially in an off axis guiding situation, once you move the camera in and out to achieve focus, you simply tighten the ring. Now you can remove the camera and reattach it without having to find the right position again.
